4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good for the money., 1 May 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Rated for small to medium gardens up to 4000 square foot (about 2-3 4 bedroom houses as a footprint) It has a 100cc engine although it seems smaller and starts very easily. It has 5 cut heights from 25-70cm so that's quite a long grass length so should cope with a manic winter and wet spring growth. The mower is self propelled meaning when you throttle up the power can drive the back wheels. To be fair though this is a bit of a gimic. I've used a lot of mowers and the only real time you need them to be self propelled is when you have the big heavy ones with the built in roller. They cost a lot more but give you a beautiful stripped finish but you do need that propulsion from the engine... here not so much. The grass basket is a decent size. (40 litres) and that means on a decent lawn you're going to empty it half a dozen times. All in all I was impressed with the performance given the price point. Mountfield have a fairly good reputation and as long as you use fresh fuel and empty out the old stuff to store for the winter you should be fine. I also find giving equipment a blast with WD 40 before storing also helps things.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok but wouldn't buy it ?!, 1 May 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
The feedback from the other half was the colour was good and went on easily but was a bit dry on the lips. No idea what that means but when asked if she would buy this with her own money (always a good indicator when you get something on a trial basis is would you spend your own money on it) she said no. So although she seemed happy enough I only gave it 3 stars ... if she wouldn't spend her own money on it then it can't be that good. After all 3 stars on Amazon reviews means 'OK' ... I think too many people rate OK products as 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars A few more people in the industry should read this., 1 May 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
A really good and relateable book and it's easy to relate to it because we have all had to buy something online at some point right?
When you read this though you realise just how far off some people are when it comes to online selling.
A good example: Getting users to register all their personal details. The book talked about NOT doing that, especially with an initial sale or making it an option ... and the books absolutely right. I get really irritated when someone starts harvesting all my personal detail when all i want is to make a quick purchase and move on. If it's going to be a regular purchase I'll make that decision to save time later but I feel forces when i can't checkout without doing this and many times I will simple cancel the order and move on. Even worse now is when you have put something in your basket and because of this process you start getting emails telling you there's still somethings in your basket so come back and finish the check out process. At this point I go from irritated to hating the company and considering phoning them up and telling them to mind their own damn business. Companies need to start considering things better and this book does a great job of that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Everything covered !!!! Great Book., 1 May 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I originally thought that with a book on taking pictures there's not a lot to know. Wrong. There's loads of great tips in here for Automatic camera's. A good example was the point that was made when taking pictures using a tripod. Even small vibrations can ruin a long exposure time so hanging a camera bag off the centre hub of the tripod lends it a bit more weight making it less prone to vibration.
The whole book is basically a collection of hundreds of pictures and each one tells you the camera, setting, f-stop, shutter speed and ISO setting etc. Etc. There's also a tip for each photo. Another tip was about using overhead angles to take pictures and why that is better when doing street photography. It's a really great book and I think if you have planned to take a certain style of photography (Food for example ... why do people take pictures of food all the time?) anyway there's everything in here to help you get the best and YES there is a page on taking a picture of a cheese sandwich.

4.0 out of 5 stars Strange thing for Bosch to do., 22 April 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I was very lucky to get these for review as I have one of the Bosch Drill/Driver range already and so the batteries are interchangeable and so is the charger pack. There's no doubt as to the quality of the products. Bosch is impressive and I've drilled concrete, stone and steel with mine and despite it being battery operated it still does a great job. I used to think only mains drills could cope with stone and concrete but it's not that case.

So why the 4 stars instead of 5. Well like I said I have a drill/driver so why did they separate these out. Why would you want 2 items when i have a combi that does both these jobs really well. My selector goes from Hammer drill to drill to driver. Various speeds and torques as well. To really confuse me my combi driver was cheaper than these two. Unless you have several people doing different jobs at the same time and need to be running two of these I fail to see the point ... the other possibility I suppose is that if my combi dies on me then nothing works but here at least you have separated the functions so you'll never be without one or the other.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very high quality book that's clear and concise., 22 April 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Very clear and concise manual. Easy to read and laid out in a simple and accessible manner. Very good book. I'd recommend it for any medical student wondering about where to specialist if that's what they want to do. Might not answer all their questions but it's a good starting place.

Wilkinson Sword Intuition Dry Skin Razor

1.0 out of 5 stars Very good ... shame about the manufacture, 22 April 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This was originally received by my wife as amazingly good and she wanted to know how much additional cartridges cost because this was going to be her new razor. she gushed about how incredibly smooth it was and how it was so much better than an ordinary razor. She remarked you could hardly tell she was using it.
So why the 1 star?
Well the cartridges aren't cheap and the cartridge is the bit that surrounds the blade and holds the moisturizing balm and lather in it. On the second use half the balm block fell off. Now I'm not sure whether that was because the block was old or dried out or whatever. But given what these blocks cost you're going to be severely miffed if every time you go to use it some of the balm block crumbles away. Maybe this was a one off event ... but we'll see from other reviewers if this happens to them. In effect imagine you'd bought a bar of soap and after the second day half the bar crumbled away down the drain. You'd not be impressed. Same effect here then.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice and high quality keyboard. Would definately buy one again., 22 April 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Not a very wide keyboard and it does take some getting used to as the keys stick way up from the board. The key press is why everyone buys these because it is a nice responsive and positive feel when typing but be WARNED my son's friend had one of these at university and everyone complained about the 'racket' when he was typing up essays at night. It's definately not a quiet keyboard I agree. The backlighting is good and the 'carbon' finish is really nice and seems to present a very professional and high quality look. I certainly enjoy using it. It also comes with additional keys so you can swap out 'gamer' keys if you want to.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great series of medical books and thoroughly recommended for anyone thinking about going into this as profession., 22 April 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Very good book. They do another in this series about what Medical Students are letting themselves in for and this is more of the same. A great approach to what can be expected for those thinking of following this route or for those who want a better understanding of what might be involved in some minor surgery they may be performing. Should have this range of books in every school's library for those thinking about what profession they wish to follow.
