Why these guys weren't bigger than the Stones is beyond me (wrong school/accent maybe?), this is the real Mod deal and they sounds as fresh today as they ever did, these guys should be headlining Glastonbury!

I caught a blast of this excellent CD on a country radio show and after a toedip online, bought the album and it’s a cracker. A fine range of styles and songs all carried with style and grace by Samantha Martin’s wonderful throaty voice. She can easily hold her head up amongst the great female country singers, something that couldn’t be said of the current crop of CMA awardees. The band are more than up to the task of supporting this fine voice, and for me they really do add a bit of spice to the world of new country.

What can I say? if you love Tintin and comics this is for you. The addition of a cool, strong and resourceful female antagonist gives this book a modern edge that can be lacking in some of the European BDs that this tale echoes. It's a delight buy it now!

With only an odd duffer on here, I would recommend this to anyone wanting to to explore the roots of Reggae and Ska, great for party times or just skanking about the kitchen.

Normally I love Mr Mosley's books and like the reviewer above will take them straight off the shelf no questions asked, but never again.

This is a very disappointing book; it seems to be a loose collection of explicit sexual fantasies from a rather lonely middle-aged man. These stories wouldn't be amiss in the letters pages of some tatty porn magazine. I've always felt that the women in Mr Mosley's have never been his strong point but in this book they are nothing more than orifices for the male to fight over and fill or nasty heartbreakers who abuse any weakness in men e.g. love.
One can't help but think the author has been through a messy divorce and this is a settling of scores, either that or he is testing how much his publisher will take before she screams, god, he's got me at it now! Very very disappointing, there's really is nothing to see here, move along please.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does what it says on the tin, 18 Oct. 2007
This review is from: Thrill-power Overload (Hardcover)
This is a great history of 2k. It's not advertised as a concepts book or a collection of back stories: there are plenty of those around from EEs to The Dredd Files, it is an amazing look behind the scenes and a wonderful way to find out why great stories abruptly finished or really crap stories kept on and on and on appearing.
The art work is great and the colour sometimes better than the orginal comic print. It also shows how close 2k came to being ran into the ground by the accountants... Phew, get it on yer Xmas list!

If you love Tom Wait's voice, this vision is the 3D version of it,beautifully shot with a sound track that russles the heart strings and a story to warm the cockles of even the coldest heart, for all us romantics who pretend to be sceptics...
'Shovels of shot glass, dig your own hole, bury what's left of your miserible soul' as Tom would say
