5.0 out of 5 stars FINALLY A TABLE THE BUMBO DESERVES, 6 April 2009
This review is from: Bumbo Play Tray (Baby Product)
I bought a Bumbo for my first child when he was 3 months old and 3 years later am using the Bumbo again for my second child now she's 3 months. A brilliant design for babies when they can hold their own heads up. I used to think 3 years ago... "What a shame there's no table for when i start weaning." ...Ta da!
If you have a Bumbo and no Play Tray yet, get the Play Tray! (Shame they didn't do it sooner.) It's really handy. I set my daughter up with her favourite board book or a few toys and she's amused for... well, a little while and when weaning comes around things will be so much simpler than they were 3 years ago.
A must buy for Bumbo owners!

5.0 out of 5 stars IN MY OPINION, THE BEST!, 6 April 2009
I've had 2 children and wouldn't have used anything other than this brand for feeding my babies. I trust this brand 100% and would definately recommend it to anyone. Colic is a real concern for parents and i've never had a problem, i believe it's because i used a trusted brand. The person who gave them 1 star and said the teats/bottles leak are screwing the tops to the bottles too tightly!... I know because i used to have exactly the same problem,(until a friend of mine pointed out what was happening).
Don't be put off by other peoples mistakes and harsh judgements!

1.0 out of 5 stars A REAL DISAPPOINTMENT!, 1 Oct. 2007
This is such a disappointing toy! My 20mth old son is addicted to 'In The Night Garden'. We play the DVD, watch the television series and play constantly with 'IgglePiggle' and 'MacaPaca' together, but he really has no interest in this 'Ninky Nonk' what so ever, no matter how hard i try. I wish i hadn't bought it and feel a bit conned! In fact whilst out shopping once i advised someone about to purchase one not to bother, 'cos children really will have no interest in this toy and it's a total waste of money!
My main gripe is, i can't understand why the carriages come apart? They don't in the series. After this has happened a few times they're fed up! Not only that, but when it does come apart it's difficult and fiddly to reconnect. Even for adult fingers!
I also agree that it should be larger than what it is and able to move on different surfaces.

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE THIS STORY SO MUCH!, 2 Feb. 2007
This review is from: Peepo! (Board book)
This has to be one of my favourite books in my childs library. The story is so cleverly written and the delicately framed and drawn pictures are truely wonderful.

It teaches children of every day family life in an Eye-Spy manner, describing situations and objects around.

I agree this book is for the older child (maybe from 15 months). However don't be put off, it's really enchanting! When reading to my child (12 months), i try to keep the tone upbeat and cheerful to keep him interested, though the pictures are not bold enough for his interest at this age.

I'd get the board book to prolong it's life.

Another fantastic gift for expectant parents.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Absolute Classic!, 29 Aug. 2006
The classic story of 'The Hungry Caterpillar', owned by myself as a child and now owned by my own child is absolutely wonderful!
It teaches counting, the days of the week and the transformation of a caterpillars life with beautiful simple pictures in a way that children can understand.

This should be in every childs library and if being bought for the younger child get the board book version. Its perfect for little hands and fingers and robust enough for older babies! (The story is no different and it will last a lifetime!)

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Have For Babies!, 29 Aug. 2006
My 6 month old loves this book. I think its the rhythm that keeps him so amused.

This book teaches the abc in a fun rhyming way that keeps both parent and baby interested to the end. (Better than the boring 'A is for Apple' stuff)

Also, the simple but bright pictures are perfect for young ones.

Its a shame it was written for the American audience because the end doesn't rhyme (We pronounce Z as 'Zed' not 'Zee') however, don't let this put you off its still brilliant!!!!

A must have for babies and young Dr Seuss fans!

3.0 out of 5 stars Squares of plastic!, 22 Aug. 2006
This review is from: Coaster Set Klimt (Kitchen & Home)
This item is basically squares of plastic. Really not what i was expecting. You would expect the basic cork backed (or similar) type of coaster, this is not that. The only good thing to say is the prints are bright and clear.
