5.0 out of 5 stars The Gladiator, 5 Sept. 2009
This review is from: The Gladiator (Hardcover)
I have followed the exploits of Macro and Cato from their first adventures.
Simon Sparrow is an excellent historical writer, on a par with Bernard Cornwell.
I look forward to the next book concerning their adventures in the pursuit of Ajax.
Although they are fictional characters, the stories are set in countries and times, were their actions could have taken place.
Simon's writing style keeps your interest at all times, and makes you look forward to see how the pair escape from their dangerous situations.
