1.0 out of 5 stars Cuts well, build quality is shocking., 30 Sept. 2011
Having purchased this on the back of some excellent reviews, I have to say I am horrified by this thing. It cuts grass well, and doesn't use any power, but that's where the positives stop. The design and build quality are terrible. If you so much as go over a pebble, the grass box will come off. If the grass box doesn't come off, then the brackets holding it on will. I have now lost 7 of the original fixings (in the 3 months I've owned it), including 5 that hold the handle on (there is 1 remaining), and both of the ones that hold the roller on. The lawnmower was built exactly according to the instructions. Everything about it is flimsy, old fashioned, and poor quality. Save up some money, and buy a decent brand instead, from a company that actually makes an effort to design things properly.

5.0 out of 5 stars OH MY GOD, 21 April 2001
This review is from: 13 (Audio CD)
The moment that i heard "tender" on the radio i could not wait to hear the album. When I did finally hear it, i was not dissapointed. Following on from the inspirational "Blur", "13" is simply a perfect album. The singles released from it showed the public the many different sides of Damon Alburns song writing abilities. Every song is different from the one before, and William Orbits input is imeadetely obvious. The best song on the album has to be "Trimm Trabb", because I have never before heard such a wonderfully atmosheric song, the whole song has been "composed" exceptionally well, with many different instruments being used. There is not one song that does not tantalise and engulf your ears and mind. "Bugman" is amazing aswell, with Coxon shining in this mind blowing, pumping song. A top quality album.

4.0 out of 5 stars A classic in every respect, 21 April 2001
This review is from: Blur (Audio CD)
The moment that you here the brilliantly atmospheric opener "beetlebum" you can fully appreciate why it went to number one. With that song you are set up for a bewildering array of styles, from the rocking "song 2" to the moody and sombre "I'm just a killer for your love". Albarns vocal talents are fully exposed on all the tracks, most noticably "beetlebum", where he combines silky yet spiteful vocals. His lyrical abilities are also on display, along with Coxons inspired lead guitar and solo's. The only negative points about this album is that a couple of the songs, noticeably "strange news from another star" and "essex dogs" are not as accomplished as the rest of the tracks. On the whole though, this album is brilliant with some classic songs and guitar riffs.
