4.0 out of 5 stars Quality Sound but design refinement required, 16 Aug. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Sound quality is superb ( coming from a regular sennheiser cx400 user) , maybe not entirely upto the quality levels of its wired counterparts from bose and sennheiser, but for a wireless one, very good and very stable connectivity wise even while exercising.

However, the hold on the ear isn't that great as the device is comparatively heavy ( vis-a-vis other in-ear headphones). This means, there is a propensity to fall out of the ear in case the hold is not perfect on the in-ear fastening hooks.

Hence I am still looking for the holy grail of affordable Bluetooth in-ear headphones.

This one come close, but isn't quite refined and ergonomic enough yet, who knows, maybe coolax are listening and version 2 might be on its way !

5.0 out of 5 stars Must have for all amateur fitness buffs, 6 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Have been using this for some time, this little device has changed my outlook to fitness.

Before i went into the market to buy one, i was impressed by a friend's fitbit.

But one of the biggest drawbacks on it is the absense of any led display.

For me it really makes a difference when the device wishes me goodnight on tapping the moon (sleep) icon and automatically wishes me goodmorning on waking up (yes earlier you had to turn sleep mode off, but the latest update has automated that and is based on movement tracking in the morning).

Subtle elements of this device are geared to promote better psychological connection with the owner.

Steps tracking is as accurate as my gf's fitbit. But the history view on the device on swiping the screen takes it one step ahead.

Treadmill tracking works quite accurately as well and run detection is automatic (nice touch).

The app though could be better. I have to say that while connecting the healthmate app to runkeeper and myfitness pal was easy but one of the biggest drawbacks of this ecosystem is the fact that healthmate only acts as aggregator of paedometer data.

Only data you can export out to runkeeper/myfitnesspal are you weight/height/heartrate measurements and not your actual activity/steps data.

I would have preferred to share my steps and run data with runkeeper and myfitnesspal.

Unless there is a 2 way exchange of data between these apps there is no point in withings calling them "partner apps"

This gripe aside (keeping in mind the app ecosystem is still a developing one), this is hands down the best everyday activity tracker out there

(ohh, i havent even touched on the heartrate and O2 meter, i typically use them to check the differences before and after runs/workout. Gives me a notion as to how well my body handles it) .

5.0 out of 5 stars Great overclocker, 6 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Running stock cooler with Artic MX2 thermal paste (only £4!!) managed to overclock to 4 GHz and temperature still a stable 50 Degrees under heavy BF4 multiplayer gaming.

Can't ask for more, especially for the price..

Thanks you gaming gods for this CPU for the mere mortals who can't afford to splash out more than 100 bucks for a decent CPU! This CPU packs great bang for buck and is certainly comparable with the low lying Haswell I5s (which cost 50% more)!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Satisfied, 6 Feb. 2014

Calm and Cool PSU. Works very well with my semi-overclocked system (Build : AMD FX 6300 + AMD R9-270X + Gigabyte 970a-DS3P)
CPU running at 3.9 GHz stable (3.6 stock)
GPU running at 1100 Ghz stable (1020 stock)

bear in mind, this PSU does not come with a Power cable and you might need CPU 4 pin extenders to reach the end of the board with the CPU 12v connector.

Very convenient - even for gaming.

No hassle for setting up with Windows 8. Works like a breeze.

Ahh, did i mention that it works even before booting into OS (WITHOUT DRIVERS) when controlling the BIOS.. That's ace and very important for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Flawless, 6 Feb. 2014

Superb dongle, connected PS4 Game Controller and simultaneously streaming music to HiFi 3 meters away, Z-E-R-O lag. Doing this every day for 3 weeks now. Couldn't be happier.

Ahh, and did i mention that Windows 8.1 picks up its drivers automatically, same with Windows 7..

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding value for money, 6 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Got this card to go with my FX 6300 cpu on a gigabyte 970a-ds3p board.
Been playing Battlefield 4 wiith everything set to Ultra with 4xMSAA on my 720p projector flawlessly.
Also playing Formula1 2013 and FiFA14 with everything on Ultra.

Monitoring GPU temperature regularly, even at max load scenario (playing Battlefield4 multiplayer for over 2 hours) GPU hardly goes above 50 Deg Celcius and fan speed is still 50-60%.

Ahh and did I mention, all this is before any overclocking on CPU or GPU and with very little system noise.
Lord knows what can be achieved if I tried that.

works perfect on my dell xps L501x with a 1st gen i5 cpu. Had an old centrino 1000n card before this. straight swap. Superb download speeds from my 5 Ghz BT router. 5 Ghz mode works like a charm. added bluetooth helps a great deal as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars ps4 controller on PC, 1 Jan. 2014
I have been using the ps4 controller for almost 3 weeks now.

Coming from a PC gaming background with X360 controller, i was expecting it to be a difficult transition to be using the ps4 controller (having disliked the dualshock 3)
I was very pleasantly surprised with the ease of use on fifa 14.
The sticks are much more responsive that the x360. Lot lesser deadzones. Trying special moves is easier with the new thumbsticks. The Dpad is a lot more usable than on the 360 as well and the triggers have lesser resistance.

Sony have officially stated that the DS4 will come with basic PC support and watching some videos on youtube where users have successfully paired their ds4 to pc gave me confidence to opt for the DS4 over the xbox one controller as the xboxone does not gain pcsupport until mid 2014 earliest (as reported by major game magazines).
Nevertheless, I was still concerned about PC connectivity and game compatibility, thankfully Inhexter's fantastic DS4 to xInput mapper has done the trick. ([...]
It maps the x360 controller buttons to the DS4 and basically with this tool enabled, every game that accepts a x360 controller accepts the ds4.
Brilliant tool and as of the latest update, I have used the touchpad on the DS4 as a general mouse for my PC flawlessly and used the LED as a battery indicator as well.
Wireless (via bluetooth) works out of the box as well, however if you are on win 7 pc with an intel Bluetooth chip, chances are your DS4 will have to be used wired (owing to win 7 driver problems). On Win 8 pc's works perfect everytime.

Overall, the triggers feel a lot more responsive in fps games (tried battlefield 4) and as mentioned earlier, the accuracy of the thumbsticks are vastly improved.

To sum up, a significant jump from the x360 controller I was using earlier. This controller in my opinion (with original driver support from sony hopefully) will be a formidable foe to the xbox one controller which releases for the PC later this year unlike the DS3 which was a non-starter in the PC controllers business.

P.S. : Love using the DS4 as a general trackpad for my pc now. Can't wait for devs to start utilizing the touchpad in games. Can already sense all the possibilities it brings!

Update : Works perfectly fine with Bluetooth on Windows 7 now! followed instructions from ([...] . Works great!
5 stars!

5.0 out of 5 stars superb multipurpose dress, 4 Dec. 2013

bought this for the gf. She absolutely loved it. Especially the colour and the vibrance makes it look a lot more expensive that it really is. Besides the flexibility to make the same dress look completely different (formal or partywear) makes it a very good option to go for. perfect fit as well and nice instructions! gets used often. Highly recommended for your wardrobe.
