5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Book!, 31 Oct. 2014
This is a fantastic book! The pictures are stunning and the presentation is gorgeous. The map/index at the back is a really clever idea.

The pictures are not the highest resolution of space photographs, but their framing is far superior to most satellite photography. Some of the geographical features and structures revealed throughout look completely otherworldly through Hadfield's lens.

The book is a little smaller than you might think -consult the product description for exact details. However, it's the perfect size for curling up with while listening to some David Bowie.

3.0 out of 5 stars Works most of the time..., 5 May 2011
This works most of the time. However, sometimes my screen will just go black for about a second before returning. This never happened with the old composite cable. Not really sure why it happens, but it's so seldom in occurrence that I'm still using this cable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Introduction to Chess, 18 Jan. 2010
This is a great book for anyone who has never played chess or who wants to learn how to play more tactically.

The writing style is engaging and lucid and all of the presented concepts are easy to understand.

The sample games provided at the end of the book are especially useful.

I am definitly considering looking into some of the author's other chess books.
