Really simple to use and although it repeats on itself a lot the actual sounds are lovely.

Finally representation of different ethnicities different sexual preferences. I read this way too fast, the prose is addictive but the story was solid.

Great book, really supported the idea that women can't just sit back and presume that is equality, we need to actually do something.

Some parts dragged but others were very well written. The characters were great though the dialogue could be improved. Overall a good book.

This was brilliant. Normally when the narrator has an illness they make a big deal of it, but this narrator is calm and well educated. I could see where the book was going but I loved it.

The book wasn't bad, not at all, but it wasn't exactly original either. The previous books gave a build up of th plot but I expected more to happen. May be the sequel will deliver.

4.0 out of 5 stars Warm socks, 12 Feb. 2015

Okay. So you know you have those pair of socks that have been in your drawbridge generations. You know where every single hole is, where the heel has rubbed down and your pinky toe is showing? Well this book is like that. I know the plot, the characters are obvious but I still enjoyed it because it reminded me of a better time. A kind of guilty secret. Don't throw away those socks, and give this book a chance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing imagination, 11 Feb. 2015

Shannon's imagination is spell binding. The novel begins with a lot of description and it can be a lot to take in, and even off putting. But stay with it and we fund raw characters, polished plot and shining fantasy. Despite having an idea about what was going to happen I still felt so personally attached to the story. Keep going, it's worth it .
