1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed how easily they broke., 6 Feb. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Product given to a 3 year old for Christmas and so easily broken. Rubber eye guard snapped off and now lens has fallen out. Really disappointed as they looked so sturdy and thought they'd be good for his age.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great bins for the price, 2 Jan. 2013
First light these appeared very good, and resolved distant objects very well. I bought them for astronomy so I really wanted to try at night time. The moon was crisp and bright around the size of a 2p coin, seas were identifiable but don't expect too much at this magnification. On a clear night Jupiter was a small disk; adjusting the focus resolved 3 dots in the same plane 'wow' was my first expression. Turned to Taurus which was high in the sky, resolved several stars in Hyades and Pleiades. Orion had risen to a point the belt and sword was visible. Orion nebula was a fuzzy grey blob with two or three stars visible. Andromeda was hard to see and was a faint grey smudge though skys were not the darkest. Overall first impressions are good but only four stars as build feels a little rough, and it would have been nice to have had a lens cloth supplied with them
