Dymo Junior Embosser Home Embossing Label Maker
Price: £10.00

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly made, terrible to use., 27 May 2015

It just doesn't work.

The machine is poorly made; the scissor feature means you need to almost crush the handle to get it to work at all, and the embossing is so faint as to be unreadable.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't actually fit a toilet roll?!, 23 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I'm perplexed by the positive reviews: this loo roll holder doesn't actually fit a standard British roll of toilet paper.
It's the right length, but the tongue is too wide for the roll; you can just about jam it on, but that pushes the cardboard inner tube out of the roll, and to get it back off again you have to tear the cardboard.

Before you ask, we use ordinary loo roll, nothing unusual, recycled Toilet Paper from Ocado/waitrose.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and nasty, 1 May 2010
I bought this as a replacement for a US one I got, don't know the brand, which lasted years until we got builders in and the suckers disappeared. This one, by comparison, is rubbish. Cheap, unpleasant, and the suckers are HOPELESS. And who wants to use screws on bathroom tiles?

Avoid.

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful, flimsy - avoid., 6 Aug. 2008
The lolly moulds are flimsy, the sticks are short and hard to hold, and worst of all, the mould set doesn't stand up on its own, so trying to get it to balance upright in a freezer when it's full of liquid is a disaster.

Avoid.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap rubbish, 12 May 2008
The only vaguely good thing about these lights is the shape: I was looking for old-fashioned carnival style garden lights, and these are a China-made cheap plastic facsimile.

While they are touted as being okay for outdoor use, they come with a non-water- or splash-proof transformer, which you have to keep indoors. So you end up trailing the cable out through a window; unpleasant if you have outdoor sockets going spare.

The bulbs are non-replaceable LEDs by the way, too.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible!, 18 Nov. 2007
This review is from: Ambient Forest (Audio CD)
If, like me, you're looking for natural sounds of the forest, this is NOT the CD for you. It's some gadawful, generic synthesiser music overlaid onto birds tweeting, etc. Blargh! And there's no sign in the review of the product that this is in fact a MUSIC cd, and not an ambient sound cd.

Even if you're after a music one, I wouldn't recommend this one, either. Insipid would be a compliment.
