Move AC Charger (PS3)
Move AC Charger (PS3)

5.0 out of 5 stars Compact and multifunctional, 15 Aug. 2013

This review is from: Move AC Charger (PS3) (Accessory)
Great for charging, especially if you have multiple controllers: I alternate charging my Move controllers and Dualshock 3 controllers and it works perfectly. The advantage is I can charge while the console is off and it fits any combination of dualshocks and move controllers.
The only thing missing is a charging dock for the official head set, but that's just a minor detail. Otherwise works perfectly!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great precicision and great fun, 15 Aug. 2013

This is my second Move controller I bought and we're having great fun with it. The number of supported games is of course more limited than the Dualshock 3 but those games that integrate it well are great fun. It's a nice controller either for single player (Heavy Rain Move edition) or for party games like Dance Star and the likes, especially if you play those games with friends or as a couple, like we do.

The precision is very good and I have yet to find any problems with this controller

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value for God of War fans, 23 Mar. 2013

I love the God of War series and this is a very nice package for fans of Kratos. The statue is very nicely detailed. The base is in lightweight plastic but that doesn't matter at all as it looks great on a shelf, near a TV or in front of your gaming collection.
Furthermore you get a season pass for all future DLC as well as avatars and a dynamic theme only available through the game.

All in all I found this package to be great value for money and can certainly recommend it

5.0 out of 5 stars Strong PQ/AQ presentation for a nice reimagining of a classic, 20 July 2010

The movie: 4.5/5
A reimaginging of a classic sci-fi movie, this version succeeds in keeping to the original's intent all while updating the movie for a more modern audience. As much as I loved the original, the new alien invaders feel much more threatening in this movie. Tom Cruise turns in a strong performance as a father who shows a brave face to his children but is clearly in over his head. Definitely a must-see movie for sci-fi fans.

The picture: 4.5/5
The visual representation of this feature is near flawless. Yes, the colors might seem a bit faded but that was a directional intent, not an error in this transfer. All details are nicely preserved and there's a thin layer of grain which might spike a bit in the darkest scenes but never feels obtrusive or unnatural. Overall, I think this is the best this movie can look and it's a definite step up over the DVD version.

The audio: 5/5
The DTS-HD MA 5.1 track caries a lot of weight and sounds superb through a home theater setup than can decode the lossless track. The sound of the invaders' machine 'horn' pierces through the listening area, every step of the tripods carries with it the necessary power and weight, toppling of buildings and big structures make the room shake and explosions woosh through the sound field. Just as importantly, the sound is accurate and there are a lot of little ambient effects as well like the rustling of leaves in the wind. This is definitely the highlight of this release!

The extras: 3.5/5
There are some interesting documentary features to be found on the development of the movie, the visual style of the invaders and how it all relates to the original. Unfortunately, no BD-Live or Blu-ray specific extras but the features are well worth watching

Overall: 4.5/5
