3.0 out of 5 stars and although it is only 640x480 it provides a better picture, particularly in the dark, 8 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This camera has average video quality, and although it's a cheap HD camera it's really about on par with most SD cameras, so don't buy for the HD alone. I also have a Wansview NCH530W which is a similar price and rotates, and although it is only 640x480 it provides a better picture, particularly in the dark.

The detail is lost and the night picture is washed out with this camera. The auto switching between night/day also doesn't work very well, I have the camera in a dark corner pointing at a well lit area, but it never goes in to day mode, if you force day mode on you do get a very good picture from the camera, so it's not really too dark.

The Wansview software is fairly terrible, but the camera does connect ok to third party software such as iSpy, VLC and ip cam viewer on the AppStore and works nicely with those.

Finally, it's quite a chunky camera, but looks reasonable when mounted on a wall/ceiling.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but not brilliant, 5 Jun. 2003
This is an interesting 'remix', which is worth a listen as the music, although fairly similar to the original is played differently enough for it to be fresh. However im not sure that it lives up to the original. I thought that it might have been a jazzed up and more powerful version of tubular bells but instead it is more subtle and probably musically more complex. I think I would choose the live performance or the Tubular Bells II DVD over this. The instruments seem to blend together a little too much and the guitars are present throughout but dont seem to stand out as much as in the original. Despite this it is still tubular bells and the introduction is particularly very good.
