4.0 out of 5 stars Hopefully the durability issues are fixed, 28 Nov. 2013
Just received these after the X10's had a problem with the casing around where the wire meets the ear piece and i had to send them back. A common problem apparently and I had only had them for less than a year!
[...]
The reason I went for these is because they are supposed to have kevlar reinforced wires, however, looking at the earpiece they look moulded in exactly the same way. Hopefully I am wrong about this because the sound reproduction is excellent, the durability....not so much.

The X11i have the same sound signature as the x10s so dont know how people are saying they sound different:
[...]
What is the difference between the old X10i and the new X11i?
The X11i is identical to the iconic X10i with a few subtle improvements - The cables on the X11i are square instead of round to be tangle-resistant, and the cables are also re-inforced with Kevlar for added strength and robustness. The tail has been improved by being made of a tougher durometer of elastomer to prevent breakage. The color of the aluminum housing is now dark silver instead of copper. The same great acoustics that the X10i is known for are identical to the X11i, as well as the fit and comfort.

On to a few notes:
- As mentioned by a previous reviewer we could have done without the tacky logo on the back on the control box which in itself looks a bit cheap. Hope it holds together, would have preferred them without this.
- The cable is square not flat.
- They have actually removed the earwax cleaning accessory for some reason, cant say i ever used this though.
- The box, while looking nice is a challenge to get into.

Obviously cant give 5 stars yet because of previous durability issues but the sound quality is superb, just make sure you use a good source because low quality bitrate is really noticeable and painful to listen to.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic range and speed, 24 Jan. 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
i live in an attic room of a student house which is an old victorian terrace, my isp is bt so I was using a bt homehub for connection to the internet and xbox live. However, the connection wasnt great and it was very laggy online, decided to get this to replace it and the signal is twice as strong as the homehub so the lag is much improved, it was very easy to set up with the cd once i had found what the email and pasword were supposed to be for BT.
theres alot of options for the advanced user too but mine is working fine ignoring all of that.
great product at a great price, recomend it to anyone
