Appearance: This is a very nice product to look at. Matches images well.

Quality: Had light use for a week now and seems fine. It has also stood up well to the weather we've had.

Delivery: For some reason Yodal delivered it in bits over several days.

Construction: As another review has mentioned you need to set aside the best part of a day to make it all up. Best thing to do is ignore the very poor instructions and work it out for yourself. It's not that difficult once you get going. You'll need a basic tool set. One of the 6 chairs I had had not been drilled properly. This risks splitting the wood if you don't notice it quick enough. I had to do some additional drilling.

Best ignore the reviews of those who dislike the use of evidence to build an inteligent argument. This book is an interesting account of the fabrication of Nazareth as a bibilcal town and the gowth of faith tourism. well worth a read.

What a great season 2006 was and if this DVD is as good as the 2005 version was we are all in for a real treat.

From Bahrain we knew we were in for a close season with nothing to choose between Renault and Ferrari. On the day it was Alonso who won but still they went into turn 1 side by side, fantastic racing.

The next two races were a little different since Ferrari were off the pace in Malaysia (only race of the year when they were) and in Australia where both Ferrari's ended up in the wall, despite being the fastest car out there that day. That race also saw the stunning sight of the Honda of Button blowing up in the very last corner. The Malaysian event also saw the first example of fowl play in F1 where a number of teams (worst offender being Ferrari) were found to be running illegal 'flexi wings' which allowed better strait line speed. Changes were made to both the wings and the rules for the next race.

The F1 circus moved to San Marino which proved to be a copy of 2005 only with roles reversed (this time Schumacher on top). Same story next time out in European GP where Ferrari had a better car and better pace than the Renault (like the majority of 2006) making it two wins a piece for Alonso and Schumacher. The next race in Spain showed just how close the leading cars were, only a slight difference in temperature allowed Alonso to triumph.

Monaco followed and marked arguably the biggest debate in recent F1. After setting the fastest lap in the final session of qualifying Schumacher appeared to park his car deliberately (he claimed he lost control of his car at 4mph) on his in lap, stopping Alonso from finishing there laps (at that point faster than Schumacher's best). Schumacher who is no stranger to cheating was hounded and condemned by all but a small minority of the F1 community passed and present the press and fans alike. After ten hours of deliberation the stewards striped him time forcing him to start last. The race was another Alonso affair with a perfectly timed safety car allowing Schumacher to save some face and come home with some points.

The next two races of Britain and Canada had little action and Alonso beating Schumacher home at the height of the Renault advantage. Alonso had a 25 point lead by this half way point and some said it was all over little did they know that he would only win one more race!

USA marked the changing of the tide for the rest of the year. The unbeatable pace of the Bridgestone tyres proved too much for the Michelin teams with Ferrari taking an easy victory yet again (well not as easy as 2005). It was the same story in France where only the fantastic pace of Alonso allowed him to take second place from Massa.

It was the events of the Monday after the French GP which will be remembered for many years to come. After being allowed for the best part of a year the FIA decided that a device called `Mass Dampers' developed by Renault (used by other teams too who were all unable to make it work as well the British-French team) were now illegal. This one act was condemned by the majority of F1 as yet another example of clear Ferrari bias in the FIA by it's ability to cripple an already behind Renault team and hand the championships to Ferrari (see 2003). The effect of the ban was clear at the next race where the Renault's struggled to even get points.

Hungary followed and is regarded by many to be the race of the season. Both Schumacher and Alonso starting from near the back of the grid and charge through the field. By far the most impressive was Alonso who passed them all by taking different lines at different speeds taking less than 20 laps to catch, pass and lap Schumacher's Ferrari, stealing away his 'Rainmaster' title. It was not to be Alonso's day when a wheel nut failed after his final stop punting him into the wall. This left the door open for Button to win his fist GP. Another day of brain fade for Schumacher who after spinning and forgetting how to drive chicanes drove into a McLaren and ended his race.

Turkey saw another first winner, this time it was Massa who was faster than his team mate all weekend showing himself to be a talent for the future. A safety car allowed Alonso in his slower Renault to get between the Ferrari's, and due to a error at turn eight Schumacher was unable to pass him in the second stops. The last 10 laps were another fantastic display of Alonso's skill as he managed to keep Schumacher behind crossing the line side by side.

Back to Italy for Monza and yet more controversy and calls of Ferrari bias in the FIA, this time Alonso was given a penalty for 'holding up' Massa during quli to the puzzlement of the fans and drivers passed and present (Max Moseley has since admitted the penalty was wrong). This allowed an easy victory for Schumacher and with Alonso failing to finish the championship gap was down to near nothing. China was another Schumacher win (his 91st and last) putting the two drivers level on points. Japan proved to be the decider when Schumacher's engine blew while leading allowing Alonso to take his first fine since the spring. The final race in Brazil was another Massa affair which Schumacher putting in a good run through the field as the others jumped out of his way in his final race.

So in the end even with a weaker car, cheating and bias all against him Alonso retained his World Championship as he heads into a new team in 2007.

this game has lost what it was about it that made it different and worth owning,i can confirm that it is now just a cheap rip off of the GTA series (which to be fair stole a lot off Driver to make GTA3). The story is poor and the missions very easy. and to top it all off after just spending a week in New York before getting this game i can say that its version of the city is very very poor.

do not buy this game if you like the Driver series, only buy it if you want a GTA knock off!!
