5.0 out of 5 stars Genius at Work, 12 Dec. 2013

This book changed my life.

It is probably not recommended for people who use words like Tosh and Waffle, whom are better off sticking to the Government line.

It is profound, metaphysical and deconstructs everything that has been convoluted so that anyone can understand it. You realize that the world isn't complicated, it is merely deliberately compartmentalized.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is insulting, 28 Oct. 2012
This review is from: Act of Valour [DVD] (2012) (DVD)
The world is under banker occupation. This is a propaganda film to make you think that the war on terror was a good idea, or a plausible idea with definable goals. It wasn't and it isn't. Its still going on even though we have been told it has finished. The wars flare up because rich bankers want to control everything and that means cold calculated slaughter of everyone including children. Everyone cheer for the heroic rapist Americans.
See it for what it is, Propaganda. In these undeclared and illegal war torn times they need all the propaganda they can get. i just wished the people wouldn't fall for it.
To cap it all, the Veterans are treated like crud and this is very much designed to get new recruits so they can die at the behest of the bankers under the scapegoat of 'terrorism' whilst calling it a religious war. It's absolute tripe and im hoping people can see right through it!

5.0 out of 5 stars ignore all the reviews, 16 Oct. 2012
The smear campaign I have seen about this movie is shocking and abhorrent to me. The points they have been trying to use (that it's a vegan propaganda film etc bla bla) are simply not true. I have been shocked to read some of these reviews and pretty much refuse to read reviews. I skip straight to what the real people think. i don't even read the reviews in the majority of cases nowadays because they are so corrupt.

Every single customer review (or real person), or comment at the end of the review that has attempted to smear and slander it has given it 5 stars. This is an exceptional film.

It is disappointing we live in an age where every single review is controlled by corporate special interest, and Government lobbying etc.

This film doesn't have a single fault! It is perfect in every way, it isn't too long, its punchy, it's intelligent without being sentimental and all the facts are there and corroborated by evidence, despite whether that behoves the industry or not. It's a fact, it's not trying to sell you anything! Unlike the reviews trying to keep people in their trapped lifestyles, and keep the dying medical industry of corporate drug pushers in business.

This film will change the world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ruddy Bloody Good actually, 22 Oct. 2011
This book is what I can only describe as Lovely Stuff

But its certainly not Bravo 2.0 by Andy Mcnab, Which actually improves with every read.

Its hilarious, clever and better than you think and I was well impressed. It bodes well for the future of Partridge, to which ; there is now a future. And what a one. A future.

2.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointing from the offset, and continued to dissapoint., 13 Feb. 2010
This series is dreadful

And made worse by the attitude of the producers involved. The ultimate dumbing down of science fiction - it's cheap and nasty and boring as hell.
I love SG1 and I love SGA, those shows had character and more importantly THINGS happening!

Steer clear of this tripe!

3.0 out of 5 stars Thatched, 23 Oct. 2009
As Ever the star of the show is Margaret Thatcher and in this series her time is finally up. The first song is a rendition of 'go now' by her Cabinet. But all throughout the show there is the feeling there is no way else to go with this character - which is kinda how it was in real life I suppose.
The show started to get better made at this point despite everyone saying when Thatcher left it got worse.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Cure to all the rubbish today, 29 Oct. 2008
This review is from: 4:13 Dream (Audio CD)
This album contains flashes of brilliance and doesn't quite seem long enough to be compared to the well thought out likes of disintegration or pornography. It is, however, better than a pop album like head on the door or japanese whispers (though it is questionable whether it contains better songs). It seems to be common for the Cure to contain reminders of all the different sounds and stages of their career. The scream reminds me of the top, and the only one reminds me of just like heaven. Way better than Wild Mood Swings but No way near as good as kiss me kiss me kiss me. Which is almost impossible to beat anyway.

5.0 out of 5 stars underrated genius, 26 Sept. 2008
This review is from: Roman's Empire [DVD] (DVD)
Watching this is a memorable experience.
I really can't see why no1 watched it but I am infintely thankful that it is out on dvd and i can introduce all my friends to it (who all love it now).
Maybe it was too dark and surreal for BBC audiences who prefer the far more mundane and overrated 'Gavin and Stacey'. Obviously a joke about trying to sell a talking baby didn't gel with modern audiences. Idiots.
I suspect this will be an undiscovered gem for future generations looking back at Matthew Hornes career. Though I expect he will not acqknowledge it.

It is crying out for another series.

Everyone seems to have missed the point in reviewing this programme!
It is not meant as an advert to make you want to travel to certain countries. It is meant to educate you about the history of what it was like and what it's like now, and that isn't always good. I like the way Palin looks at the world in a sarcastic and alternative perspective. If you wanted to watch trashy holiday advertising BS, look elsewhere
