Goldmine Record Album Price Guide, 7th edition
Ignore any negative comments, this is what it says on the cover, the GOLDMINE Record Album Price Guide. Any serious collector will know Goldmine is an American publication and this deals with American, not British, LPs. If you want British, then go for the Record Collector Rare Record Price guide. This book does the job well if you want to know the guide value or scarcity of any American albums you may have or are thinking of buying. Being an American publication it naturally gives its values in dollars. It has one or two shortcomings, it doesn't cover soundtracks for instance (these are in a sister publication) and the only prices given are for near mint examples. However, I paid just over £8 for my up to date copy, when you consider that against the £29 the British guide costs when it first comes out, it's certainly value for money.
