4.0 out of 5 stars 10+ years of good level first person shooting in a huge breadth of ..., 5 Oct. 2017

Some context:

10+ years of good level first person shooting in a huge breadth of FPS games - I know my way around what makes a good mouse.

Over the past 4 weeks I've been trying a few mice. To be precise, the following:

BenQ ZOWIE EC1-A
Zowie FK2
SteelSeries Rival 310
Logitech G502
HyperX Pulsefire FPS Gaming
Mionix Castor
Corsair M65 Pro
SteelSeries Sensei 310
Logitech G403 Wired
And of course, the Logitech G Pro.

After extensive use with all of those, adjusting and amending the various settings in their respective software (Zowie doesn't have software) I came to the conclusion that the G Pro is the best mouse for FPS. Now for MMORPG's where you need lots of buttons for various things this isn't ideal, as it's more conventional in its design and ergonomics. However, for smallish handed, claw gripped people interested in first person shooters, this is amazing, it's sensor is quite impressive and by far the best I've come across at this point.

I've got one final mouse coming in two days time - the Deathadder Elite. After I've tested that I will come back and update everyone, but for now the G Pro is the option to choose.

I will lastly put a disclaimer in that ultimately the performance comes down to the individual's own talent/reaction times/hand eye coordination etc. The mouse will help, but to share an analogy, you can wear the same football boots that Messi wears, but you won't start performing like him just because you are, there is an element of one's own skill to be completely wary of.

5.0 out of 5 stars Overall a competent watch, and great value., 4 Dec. 2015

For £115 (edit £90 a few months back), can't really go wrong with this. It's comfortable and light with the leather, fair sized dial without being overkill, looks and feels the part with decent dial thickness, and, the illuminator is a nice touch, if a bit style over substance. The faux-carbon fibre in the dial is nice too, and adds a bit of texture to it all.

You also get a proper old school second-hand needle, and not a tiny one inside the smaller dials, (which is typical of the chronographs).

All in all a typical good value Casio watch.

Neat, discreet, functional. Has fancy specs and certainly will have bags of reliability being an Eco-Drive. Register online and you also get 6 years of warranty.

Why the star docked, well, that's not necessarily an inherent issue with the watch, but being a bloke with above-average hairy arms and wrists, the gaps in the bracelet kept pulling on the hairs at-least hourly, which over time can get annoying.

The link adjustment too is a bit of a faff unless you have the proper kit. The crowns and the pins can be removed easily enough, but putting them back in post-adjustment can be a pain.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb for young folk, teens and young adults., 4 Dec. 2015
I had this book many many years ago, but thought I'd pop in and praise it for what it was: warm, genial and yet realistic with the ups and downs between different characters, cricket-informative (yup, does help to be a 'cricket-phillic' , very relatable (I can't tell you how often I used to pretend to be part of the GG realm), and above all, skilfully written and put together. The chemistry and antics between the different characters and entities is very good indeed, and continues throughout the rest of the series.

2.0 out of 5 stars Simply not worth it., 6 Sept. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Far too slow and laggy I'm afraid. My sister bought this one before me and gave it back saying it was too slow. The browsing feels clunky, and any more than 3 or 4 programs open mean performance drops. Just a case of more RAM needed but either way, my advice is spend £30 extra and get the 8GB RAM version.

The other problem with this is the screen colours are so washed out at ANY angle other than absolutely dead-on 90 degrees. I dunno whether it's a fault with my laptop, but if you're a movie-watcher like me it's a big turn-off. I'll be trying to give this back and get the bigger brother for just 30 quid more.

I'd choose the 2500 instead, as it is only slightly more than this, but being a K-Series it doesn't have an overclock limit. I've seen 2500's clock to over 5Ghz. This one I've topped out at touching 3.9Ghz. Good, but not brilliant when you look at the potential of a 2500.

Good fit, great feel, superb build quality, and no scratches from the cover. It's also pretty simple to put the phone in and take it out again. All in all, a great buy that protects the phone and makes it look even classier.

Fast, slick and with futureproof hardware.

Downside is that the battery is not as good as the S6, and I suppose 32GB inbuilt isn't all that great for a flagship phone. Then again, there is a slot for external memory, which is more than can be the said for the Galaxy S6.

Came damaged as the stitching on the bottom had come loose. I prefer the I-Blason one instead. It looks and feels more professional; perhaps that's just the leather not being smooth as it is on this. Either way that's the one I use even today and it's more than sufficient.

Sekonda Men's Chronograph Two-Tone Bracelet Watch (28CFG15)

2.0 out of 5 stars Looks fantastic; put it on your hand and it looks ..., 6 Sept. 2015
I purchased this from Argos a few days ago where it is £59.99, and I'm giving a review based off of that. I'll keep it short but here's the gist of it. Looks fantastic; put it on your hand and it looks a great deal more than the price.

However, it has some major flaws. Firstly the strap is very cheap steel and has no weight to it at all, almost looking tacky up close. The strap itself is also very very uncomfortable. It is far too sharp and coarse and any hairs on the wrist just get trapped and pulled. First time that's happened.

Also, the luminous dials aren't actually luminous unless you bring the watch so close your eyes that the dials start to swim in front of them.

All in all, not worth it. Going back tomorrow.
