If only my history teachers had been this good, 16 Mar. 2009
Seeing the battle by the side of the narrator, a longbowman in Edward III's campaign, the story takes you through the (today) often forgotten Battle of Crecy. Although somewhat xenophobic at times, the story nicely captures the general mood of the English campaign and you come away wishing that your history teachers had been this good at telling you how the majority lived, died and thought through the times instead of the normal kings + queens.
