Have been meaning to write a review for some time! This latest book of Ghillies (and i have all of them) is yet another inspirational one for all those imaginative cooks. Easy to follow,all ingrediants you can buy from your supermarket and great results. She would give any nervous cook confidencewith her straightforward easy to follow instructions

Perfect for anyone who's trying to cook different family recipes every week that are nutritious but has got stuck in a rut! I never knew there were so many ways to cook rice and other grains or that they are so full of nutrients. I've only just bought a copy of this, but am ploughing my way through and loving it! I've also photocopied the cooking guide to put on my fridge - as I always seem to get my rice cooking wrong. Favourites are the granola, Asian papaya and beef salad with wild rice and the delicious cranachan style ice cream (which I made for a dinner party on Saturday and everyone loved).

LOVE this book and have already bought loads for friends. It's SO easy to follow and particularly clever as it also tells you other things you can make with the jams and cordials too. Just about to try the plum and blueberry tart..yum!
