Not going to bore you with a lengthy review. It's sounds fantastic! Loud, tight and weighty but always controlled bass and still retaining that signature smooth Sonos sound.

I feel some songs may not sound loud enough whereas some sound absolutley LOUD at the same volume so normalising is something I would want as a feature. Also, you need a strong internet connection for Sonos. I have one and still mine will sometimes just not respond but will always play...eventually. But as it's about the sound it's got to be a 5 star review. Not such a short review anymore lol.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well, a LOT better than Deathly Hallows - Part 1!, 7 Mar. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
If you played the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 video game, I can gurantee you this is a lot better. From the moment it starts, I felt that it was instantly better. Are you just still killing death eaters? Yep, pretty much. But in this video game, it's justified. Deathly Hallows - Part 2 as a film is a war film, Part 1 was not. But you're defeating and casting at the death eaters in much more interesting ways. There's a lot more spells to choose from and each of them actually have a purpose and do different things. E.g: using expelliarmus will disarm an enemy's protego and not actually attack them. Casting is a lot better too - there's better aim and it just feels more satisfying rather than a bit sluggish like on the last game. There are a lot of other things to do too - like walking in the chamber of secrets, walking in the forbidden forest. Okay a lot of walking, but if you're a major HP fan, you will love walking in the well built environments! Also, finding the diadem. Well, not exactly finding as you just keep attacking Draco and his mates instead of looking for it, but hey ho, it's still incoporating the story!

Sometimes however, loading the next chapter takes SO long - I don't know what it may be, but I'm playing on a top spec laptop made in 2014 whereas this game was made in 2011!

So overall I like it. It's not perfect and I still think attacking the death eaters is slightly over done again but it's overall a much better game and you should buy + play :)

3.0 out of 5 stars Still play it, but you may get bored., 29 Feb. 2016
Well it's not a bad game, but it's not great either. The graphic work is amazing. One thing I really will commend this game on is it's ability to make you feel involved in the world. I genuinely felt a bit scared when walking down the Ministry of Magic's halls under my invisibility cloak. The graphic work, colours, music and sound effects all come together to give you a really immersive Harry Potter experience.

Now for the down sound - the gameplay. The gameplay is not awful. It's not an impossible game, but I did find it challenging. Probably for avid gamers, this will be a doddle, but for someone who doesn't really play games at all, it'll be more difficult, especially more than the predecessors. Your wand is everything in this game which makes certain tasks very tiring. The entire game is basically using your wand to attack death eaters all the way through. Some challenges are different such as finding things, following things or people, but this nearly always leads to having to battle death eaters. There are loads of different environments and of course you do play through the story but there are so many sidetracks. You play 'challenges' which have absolutely nothing to do with the original story. Things like running through the forest and attacking spiders, inferi, dementors, death eaters and pixies who all seem to come at the same time? The story is also not very realistic - I doubt Lord Voldemort even had this many death eaters! Deathly Hallows was about his rise to power - not his victory. Characters are somewhat alike their real components in the films but some voices are off, lip synching can be a bit of a nightmare and certain characters say things they would never in the films. Also the fact that Harry is just attacking Death Eaters - it's not very representative of his actual character. Harry would never just kill/battle for the sake of it. Too much story is lost in my opinion.

So I don't want to give too many things away if you play it - but the graphic work is immense in my opinion (apart from a few glitches likes the trees in the forest) but other than that - it's a fairly repetitive game that is exciting at points but becomes the same thing over and over again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Harry Potter video game available!, 24 Feb. 2016
You'll probably get those people on here telling you the first few videogames (basically the first one) is the best because it's fun (I think it's purely for the nostalgic value) but listen here guys - THIS is the best Harry Potter videogame (out of all 8 EA games).

I'll tell you why! Why does everyone love Harry Potter? Well for me it's the fact it's a completely different world from our own. You know, quidditch, potions, spells, a huge archaic looking school! Well, in this videogame you get to experience all of that. You can walk around Hogwarts - even in classrooms you will not even have any use with, you can go to potions class, cast spells and have duels - all with the actual story running through too!

Why this beats all the others:
Let's face it. No matter how much we love the first one for it's nostalgic value - the graphics cannot be compared to this. In this Hogwarts looks as it appears in the films unlike the first videogame (this is natural, as this type of graphic technology had not advanced). And instead of little random challenges you got in the first few - the challenges here have all actually been seen in the films! Now why is it better than the seventh and eighth? Well...the graphics get even BETTER in those even though the graphics in here and still outstanding, but the truth is - they are dull. They don't stick to the actual story and both videogames just entail fighting death eaters. So you're basically just clicking the mouse button (for P.C.) again, and again, and again, and again. I think I read somewhere before that what's actually ironic is that J.K. Rowling states that Harry always fights for a reason and the fact he is just attacking death eaters continously (although they are the baddies) - the story is lost and it just becomes a Hollywood-ised sham.

So if you want to feel part of the Harry Potter world - you know what to click. Although I don't know why it's so expensive right now. Hmm...

From the UK here, but this US artwork is so amazing, why is it always better in the US or is it just me? Bought this just for the artwork actually, it comes with a slipcover which is also lenticular featuring a stunning poster or Harry and Dumbledore and Snape and Draco - highlighting good vs evil! Remember you need to have a Region 1 DVD player or Region free player to play the DVD!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent, but seriously overpriced!, 30 Nov. 2013
Firstly i'm a huge Little Monster; so i did want to get these headphones as it has Lady Gaga's name on it!

I'm just going to get to the sound quality...

The headphones are seriously overpriced for £130; do NOT pay that much! The maximum you should be willing to pay for these is £50; if you was to compare them to other in-earphones.

The sound is very good for certain genres. Although it's optimised for Pop music, the earphones find it very difficult to handle tracks with alot going on. E.g: One Direction where it's very Pop-rock.
But where it does excel is in bass. So feed it a few songs from ARTPOP and you get decent sound.

E.g if you play 'Donatella', you get a nice level of clarity; it's not out of this world, but it's listenable and audible. The bass is very good and brings out the best of the bassline. It also goes quite loud! If you play the song 'ARTPOP', you get a very nice listening experience as it's a simple song. But then you get to 'Applause' and the chorus seems a little too out there, a bit hard-edged if i'm honest; no subtlety about it, just noise!

These aren't the best earphones in the world, but they aren't trying to be. If you like Lady Gaga, enjoy dance music and are able to find these under £50; go ahead!
