Looking to buy a tablet for over a year now, but was looking at the Ipad. Persuaded to look at the Tab 3 10.1" and decided to go for it as it has a slot for a micro-sd card.
Seet up easy enough and screen resolution and processor speed good enough.
Put a load of files (books, music, films and magazines onto a memory card and found it easy enough to access - appears to play every format I threw at it which is better than Ipad or Kindle (though .mobi format books bought from other retailers needs to have the kindle app downloaded and importing the books into it.
Can zoom in and move around screen easily so can now read magazines (not easy to do on Kindle I have).
Bought a Galaxy to female USB connection so can also plug in a pen drive (anything larger is too power hungry to work).
Limited number of good free games apps available compared to apple store only thing letting it down.

Overall a very happy buy as I can now ditch the ipod & kindle on holiday, use skype to talk to family, see what's happening in the news take photo's with my Nikon camera, remove card and put in tablet and upload to facebook using hotel wi-fi so a great buy overall.

Wife now decided she wants one so must be good

Had the older model for around 3 years now so decided time for an upgrade to a longer zoom.
Imagine my disappointment in finding things have taken a backwards step!
The old model used AA batteries which can be bought even in the remotest of locations around the world - instead the new battery uses rechargeable battery and just to save themselves a couple of quid over customer service by not providing a true charger unit, instead opting the cheap and nasty option of having to charge the battery in the camera - how you are expected to do this and still use it is beyond me!....Instead I've now had to fork out another 15 quid for a couple of additional batteries and a charger unit.
Another idiot aspect is that I also have an Olympus pocket camera I just bought to replace an older model..... You'd think the batteries and charger units would all be compatible across a single manufacturers range...but no. So now I have 2 cameras to take on holiday wit 2 charger units and a pocket full of rechargeable flat shape batteries.
Can't comment on the camera performance as am sitting here waiting for battery to charge! Thanks Olympus...

If you love L.A. Guns then you would love this live concert.
Released in 2004, unfortunately, this is just a re-release of a cd issued in 1999/2000 released under the title Live:a night on the strip and is identical in every detail to this album, including the mis-listing of tracks (tracks 4 onwards are out by one!)
Well worth having if you don't have the other cd, but if you already have a night on teh strip, don't buy this....

I know there is a lot of debate about on/off rail game restrictions - I bought it on the basis of how great RE4 was - and was hugely disappointed.
Whilst the fixed rail was a pain - and I hated that aspect - it was the other lack of choices I found depressing - ie do I choose to buy another gun / or upgrade current gun. Graphics are good and it's nice to see you get the choice of character to play, I think overall this game is a serious step backwards in gaming - after all - having a separate nun-chuck and wii controller are supposed to increase freedom - not tie you to a pre-defined route. I really hope that when RE5 comes out, it is more like 4 and not like this one - else I will no longer be a fan of this game....
If you don't have either - go for Resident evil 4 and avoid this fun.....

If you buy no other game in your life, get this one - Like most others, took me over 2 days to complete it the first time and I was addicted from the offset. Loved the fact that the upgrades or weapon changes dictated how you fared in the game, though as with any game of this type, your destiny is fixed as you have to achieve certain tasks in order to continue.
Have played it 3 times now to completion. If you start again from the end of the 1st game, you get to retain all your weapons etc from 1st game - Just had to play it again to get the infinity rocket launcher. Only disappointment was when it all ended....

Great concept -trully awful game - Viewpoint doesn't allow you to anticipate the next section of the course making for difficult driving - viewpoint is fixed - never got past first track so got even more boring playing same course (shame 'cos the graphics and concept are great)- stay well away from this one!
