5.0 out of 5 stars Essential reading on team development - highly recommended, 16 Mar. 2015
For anyone interested in how to work with senior teams, this book is essential reading. It succinctly lays out the business case for collective leadership development and offers a useful model with several applied case studies that nicely bridges the gap between theory and practice. This is the most contemporary reference on team development I have come across and I refer to it regularly. This and Hawkins's previous book is highly recommended.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good technology, but overall not as good as BOSE QC range, 27 Dec. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought these for use around the house, commuting on the train to work, on planes. I currently have a pair of Bose QC3's.

PROS
Bluetooth works well with my iPhone 5
Good downloadable Parrot App to adjust EQ
Touch sensitive ear pad works very well to increase volume and shift tracks
Sound quality is good, bass not too intense

CONS
Battery life is terrible - 4 to 5 hours. USB charging only.
No case - easily bashed about in your bag
Heavy on the ears after a few hours wearing
Sound not contained within earphones, you risk seriously annoying your fellow commuters on the train or bus
The in-built microphones didn't work particularly well, very echoey and I couldn't use on conference calls
The design is too chunky

Overall - the wireless technology is great, but this product is let down by the overall thinking about the consumer experience. No case and poor battery life is inexcusable at this price. I've sent mine back.

The Lowdown: Business Etiquette - Russia
The Lowdown: Business Etiquette - Russia
Price: £2.39

1.0 out of 5 stars Utter waste of money, a truly dreadful, simple and generic book, 21 Oct. 2011
I read this eBook in less than 10 min. Partly due to the fact that (a) there aren't many pages and (b) it is full of generic travel advice statements e.g. Do wear a suit, do have a lawyer review contracts, don't take unlicensed taxis, do be prompt. do be polite but don't be wishy washy. This advice holds true for most cities in the world I have travelled to on business. Having worked in Russia before I was looking for insights into the culture, what it's like to grow up in Russia, their dominant logics, their view of other nationalities etc. A real missed opportunity to educate the world and I'm also £6 out of pocket.
