A good traveling companion, 8 Mar. 2012
Tim Moore takes the reader on his variant on the Grand Tour....a well worn theme - however he certainly puts his own mark on it. Having read Spanish Steps about his trip with a donkey along the Camino de Santiago I felt ready for another dose of his witty style of travelogue. I didn't enjoy Continental Drifter as much but it made for a pleasant companion, full of facts and humour, and I would recommend it. However I'm still not sure if Mr Moore is the type of traveling companion I'd prefer in book form to the real thing!
