Kept me interested and chuckling throughout, an easy read you can't put down as you want to know where he goes next and what he gets up to. Love the interpretations of
British idiosyncrasies. Agreed with everything he says!

A good read. The author takes us on a journey with many subtle changes and with a totally believable underscore. Looking forward to the next trip

5.0 out of 5 stars Where football became dis-united, 21 Jun. 2010
As a football fan it is good to read what has happened to our Beautiful Game. We all knew it was going on, the chapters on Venables and Redknapp are libellous if they're not true. The book is printed still so it must be true.
Agents have wrecked the sharing of money throughout our football, just kept it and tough luck to anyone not in the premiership elite.
Arsenal success story well documented. Dein such a success in business huh? Allardyce not protecting his family, nor Fergie. Levy squeaky clean.
Liverpool and mu doing so well, debt free?
A cracking read, a must read

Just listened to this and have to say it is the first Gabriel songbook, ever, that does not excite or inspire. All that is missing is Leonard Cohen on backup vocals.

How can anyone depress Heroes and Waterloo Sunset?

Never mind Archangel, been with you since 1970 and Friars and will buy the next.

Suppers on the hot plate, get well soon

All JM fans should have this. Just browsing and saw this, remember seeing the bulk of this set, incredible. Just suprised it's not more readily available.

Listening to the Sunshine's Better, classic, now. Suzanne to follow, Step it up, She's a Lover. Doesn't get better from the rover.

Roll up, skin up and chill out.

Probably the best read about the genre.

Must read. A real supporter of a club that will never be more than what thay are. And do you know what? They are are ok with that.

MU, Arsenal, Chelsea and even the ever sinking 'pool fans try and imagine what watching your team is about.

Wolves at Bath rememebred.

Good luck to the gasheads
