Wahl Ultima Plus Shaver
Wahl Ultima Plus Shaver
Price: £39.99

2.0 out of 5 stars NOT RECOMMENDED, 17 May 2016
Purchased approx 1 year ago. Shave is ok but the razor is not robust enough. It is very easy to knock the heads off whilst cleaning.
Now one of the heads has come apart when I brushed it and a spring has vanished. I do not have the touch of a stone mason!!!!!!.
Seems impossible to purchase replacement heads.
NOT A GOOD BUY AT ALL.

Would recommend this phone . I find the 5ins size a great benefit as I am less likely to make typo errors. I do not make many calls but use the phone for down loading data. Upgraded from a moto e and 5ins g model is vastly superior.

Entertaining read if you are in to this type of novel. I enjoyed it and consider it a worthy end to this series of books.

The Crossing (Harry Bosch Series)
by Michael Connelly
Edition: Hardcover
Price: £7.00

4.0 out of 5 stars Exiting read, 11 Nov. 2015
At times Bosch and Haller don't come across as compatible with one another. Nevertheless a great read. However best separate the two next time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Game set and match in Bordeaux, 11 Nov. 2015
This review is from: End Games in Bordeaux (Paperback)
Don't read this out of sequence with the others or you will not follow the plot lines. Not quite a perfect rounding off to all the various strands but this would be unachievable without a considerable lengthening of the book and a resulting slowdown to the tempo. However still an enjoyable read and a must if you have read the others in the series.

2.0 out of 5 stars Uconvincing, 2 Aug. 2015
What I disappointment. Plot was in the final analysis insubstantial and could have been covered in a book half the length. The ending was relatively predictable. An attempt was made to make this an atmospheric novel and going down this route could have been a success. Sadly however this mood kind of petered out as the story progressed. The story was told via one character. However the author's attempt to show her in a sympathetic light was at odds with the way the story developed and I became unconvinced by her actions. The only plus was the description of the village setting which was convincing. This author can do much better.

Stumbled on this book by accident. What a find! A very well written book. Conveys the sadness and cruelty of war and its effect on people very well indeed. The short descriptive section in the middle involving the young wasp amongst the battle casualities in the homestead is pure genius.

Deadly Election: Flavia Albia 3 (Falco: The New Generation)
Deadly Election: Flavia Albia 3 (Falco: The New Generation)
by Lindsey Davis
Edition: Hardcover
Price: £16.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Worthy continuation of Flavia series., 6 May 2015
A worthy addition to the series. It has the same format as the previous Flavia stories and Falco's daughter is now firmly establised as worthy of a continuous run of novels. The author manages to the continue with the same pleasant blend of humour and action as before. My only criticism of this particular book was that it seemed to go round in circles and lose momentum a bit in the middle of the story otherwise five stars. However this is a minor criticism and should not dissuade a reader. Looking forward to next in series.
