5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent films, Excellent game., 20 Mar. 2005
If you are a LOTR fan then you are probably gonna buy this anyway, but if you need a little persuading then listen up. First off this game is not like Rome total war, because its not menat to be. The graphics are unbeleivable and the gameplay is fantastic you will keep coming back to this again and again (thanks to the skirmish mode). This game is of course more like Command and Conquer or Warhammer dawn of war than anything else and of course that is a good thing. Build units from the Rohhirim to Mountain trolls and all the heroes are there such as Eowyn, Aaragorn, Gandalf, Nazgul etc. etc. Even better this game is not very easy so you wont just complete it in a day and then forget about it, You will have to be at your best to defeat the Evil forces of Sauron and Saruman. Final thought Fantastic a must for all Gamers. Thank you for your feedback.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not far off perfect., 20 Mar. 2005
Okay, i am not much of a gadgets man but to quote a phrase i know what i like, People complain about the Ipod like its not worth the hype but trust me it is. If you want a portable library of songs in a smart and stylish package the ipod gives you just that, i bought mine hoping i could put all my music on there and then take it anywhere, i was right. The batteries dont last forever but then again they last long enough for most journeys. I have encountered no major problems since getting my ipod, yes its a little scratched now but it still looks great and nothing stays in mint condition forever. The controls are easy and this device will stand you in good stead for years. Final thought if you like music, use a walkman etc. then this is for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Proper Bo I tell thee, 11 Jan. 2005
If you have not seen an episode of Bo Selecta then where the hell have you been? This is the best sketch show to come onto TV for years and is quite simply a touch of genius. Season 3 is without doubt the best of all, although seasons '1 and 2 where great by season three they have really perfected all the sketches. Avid merion just gets more and more disgusting each season. If you are a fan of this you are probably gonna buy it anyway, if not, whư not. A must have.

5.0 out of 5 stars The new Championship Manager, 18 Dec. 2004
The makers of championship manager split up recently. One group is Football manager 2005 that although lost the name undoubtedly kept the basics of the game. This put simply IS the new Championship manager. The gameplay is very similar and it has all the little extras that CM fans adore. The new CM however is definatley lacking something that all its predicessors had. If you like me buy the new CM every year then i would give you one peice of advice: Buy this it is the new CM.
Fantastic as always!

5.0 out of 5 stars Put simply its a good game., 18 Dec. 2004
This review is from: Rome: Total War (PC) (Video Game)
Like a cross from warhammer and civilisations this game is without doubt the best game i have played for years. There are two main parts to the game:
1.The city management screen (sort out taxes, city buildings Etc.)
2. The battle screen (Your army against any that stand in the way)
This is the sort of game you will be playing this time next year. It just does not get boring. It takes a while to pick up but its not that difficult and within no time you will be clashing against the other mighty empires.
Final thought - If you like civilisation and/or warhammer then this game is for you.

Old school, Zoolander, American pie..... If you like these movies you willabsolutley love Starsky and Hutch the movie. I have never seen the TVseries but I will without doubt buy this DVD as it is easily the funniestmovie to be released this year. From start to finish you will be institches at the antics of the two maddest cops on the force. Once againif you have a sense of humour buy this DVD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chillout music at its best., 7 April 2004
This review is from: Til the Morning Comes (Audio CD)
I was first introduced to Geraldines music at a live concert in Hannover(shes very big in Germany) where i was given a signed copy of "Til the morning comes". She was unveleivable live and just as good on this album. Geraldine MacGowan has the voice of an angel and does a lot of her own songs, my favourite being blackwater side. The band backing Geraldine are outstanding and will have you on a rollercoaster of emotions in not time. Final word: If you want to lie back relax and just chill out.......buy this album.

5.0 out of 5 stars The greatest piece of literature ever!, 25 Mar. 2004
First off, i am not a geek, I do not watch star trek or star wars and i dont spend my weekend with elf ears on to look "cool". This is without doubt a masterpiece it allows us an insight into a world created by JRR Tolkien and leaves us wanting more. The story(if you dont already know) is about a young hobbit(you will find out when you buy it) who comes into posession of a magical ring which weilds terrible and awsome power. The rings creator, the evil Sauron desires to once more wear the ring to increase his power so he sends his servants after young frodo(the hobbit), meanwhile Frodos quest is to destroy the ring ridding the world of its terrible power. Enough said you either know the story in which case im wasting my breath or you dont in which case you should buy this NOW. This is a fantasy book but is much more serious than Discworld type books and you will find yourself lost for hours in Middle earth(where the book is set). Everyone should own a copy of lord of the rings as it is the greatest work ever written and you will read it again and again.Buy this now!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Treat this as fiction and you will do well., 23 Mar. 2004
This review is from: The Bible Code (Paperback)
First off, no I do not beleive in the Bible code one bit. Secondly the book is written like a giant newspaper article. One of Michael Drosnins major failings lies in the fact that he repeats himself over and over again. This book has about a days reading in it and has some intresting stuff in it but it will not keep you up all night contemplating the end of the world. I would not recomend buying this book although if a friend has already bought it then get it off them and give it a read as it has some intresting stuff in it which will keep you intrested for a bit. Final thought: Buy no, loan yes.

Blood Hunt: A Jack Harvey Novel
Blood Hunt: A Jack Harvey Novel

4.0 out of 5 stars Realism aside, a great read., 7 Mar. 2004
This is the first Rankin/Harvey book i have read and to be honest i will now endeavour to read more. It has a fantastic plot and the characters are well developed. The main downfall of this is that at times the sense of realism is lost and it becomes slightly fantasy like (The hero is a bit too good, SAS or not.). I would definatley recomend this book to anyone as it is a fantastic read and is a real page turner.
