A bit disappointed considering the, 25 July 2016
I bought this book hoping to bring it with me in an examination but unfortunately there are just 12 worked examples in it only. There are some procedures shown etc and explanations but i expected more from a book dedicated to connections, many of the formulas can be found in Eurocode anyway. A bit disappointed considering the price

i wish i had this during my Beng degree.solving a multiple integral, for example, is a simple operation in this calculator.it has so many functions! the manual that came with the calculator will show only the basics(150160 pages).its not as bad as others say.a cd was provided with a detailed manual. now, this calculator has so many functions and so many apps you can download, its more than a calculator.the truth is you wont be able to remember how to use many of its functions.but for example,me as a civil engineer ,i can calculate intergals, differential equations, matrices, polynomials etc very fast, because im not interested in other types of maths. i think its a great calculator

the best hydraulics book.its not very advanced hydraulics advanced fluid mechanics but the explanations are the best i have seen on the topic.it will certainly be useful in all the three or four years of a Beng course.there is something like a dialogue between a student having questions and a professor answering them throughout the book.its very useful.there are also many experiments in the book which you try at home with water to understand important aspects.really good!
