A perfect fit for my Galaxy Note, better than the official Samsung case, and also cheaper. Looks smart, props the tablet up nicely on a desk or table, comfortable to use when reading on a train or similar. Highly recommended

5.0 out of 5 stars Rockin Robyn, 1 Jan. 2013

This review is from: Jewels For Sophia (MP3 Download)
One of Robyn's classic albums, originally released during his brief tenure with Warner Brothers, this contains some superb songs - The Cheese Alarm, Mexican God, I Feel Beautiful, Sally Was A Legend...and more - and is excellently produced and performed. Really clear, sounds like the musicians are enjoying themselves, clever lyrics, great melodies - what's not to like?

I only bought the one track because it had been an "earworm" for a few weeks so HAD to be listened to. A classic of its genre, worth listening to

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential album for any music lover, 1 Jan. 2013

This album is an all-time classic. Some of The Small Faces' best tunes are included. I bought this copy as a "secret santa" gift and it was possibly the most appreciated in the entire office.

4.0 out of 5 stars Doobies Return On Form, 7 Nov. 2010
This review is from: World Gone Crazy (Audio CD)
Their 1st studio album for several years sees The Doobie Brothers come back with their sound and style thoroughly intact, "Chateau" and "Nobody" being two of the absolute highlights, both of which went down a storm when they performed them as part of their concert set in Bristol recently. If you like the classic Doobie Brothers sound, this album is definitely recommended

4.0 out of 5 stars Good indications for the new album, 7 July 2010
One of my all-time favourite bands are back with a couple of cracking tracks, which really promise great things for the new album. Caravan is a stunning song, wonderful lyrics as always, and crisp, clean production. BU2B is also a good number, though not as "instant". However, the band are still on prime form after all these years - highly recommended

A great price for a pair of chargers which mean I'm no longer having to rush around remembering the darned things. Delivered speedily, worked straight off, no complaints whatever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mind blowing reinterpretations, 6 Jun. 2010
This review is from: Gold (MP3 Download)
I first came across some of these cover versions of Abba songs - specifically "Dancing Queen" - when presenting Caroline Rocks' Breakfast Show in Bristol a few years ago, and had been hunting for the full album ever since. I was not disappointed - this album ROCKS. The blending of Abba's pop with some of the very best rock tunes/styles of the past 20-30 years works well, especially so because the band are craftsmen. It's difficult at times to tell that this isn't Pearl Jam or Van Halen, or whoever, doing the songs. If you're a rocker, no matter how disdainful you may be about Abba's tunes, check it out. You could well be pleasantly surprised.
