Pretty much everything that is written in this book can be found in other books that also give you a step-by-step guide on how to tackle this tricky aspect of toddlerdom. I was hoping for more concrete advice. The most I got out of this book is that you as the parent needs to be patient and ready for accidents. Okay then, thanks for that. I preferred what Dr Christopher Green has to say, not to mention good ole Dr Spock. Also the gender specific Potty training for boys/girls was very helpful (sorry, I can't think of the authors' names here). Finally, call me a prude, but I really didn't feel like the pictures of toddlers on potties/toilets were really necessary.
