Highly recommended for any football fan who has ever travelled to watch England, no fly in fly out trips in the days the author is talking about, week long trips the norm in them days. More or less every away game from Norway in 81 till the Mexico World Cup is covered in this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars A rip off....., 28 Sept. 2012
Beware before you buy this, it has just took chapters from other books (Who Wants It, Steaming In amongst others, oh and the awful Brimson books) and reproduced them.....a con in other words.....so unless you havnt read any other books (which if you havnt then you wouldnt be getting this anyway) avoid.................

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent....., 6 Oct. 2011
This review is from: Annis: My Story (Paperback)
Excellent book, not a hooligan book by the way, just the authors life story so some stuff is covered (soul crew, panorama etc) but dont expect a 'we done em and run em' book (thankfully).....

Its a very personal book as well which shows to me at least that the author writes a genuine and BS free book, tbh buy it and read for yourself......

Superb.....

2.0 out of 5 stars Enough is enough...., 6 Oct. 2011
Surely the end of 'hooligan' books now.....id say there isnt anymore that can be said......

Ive given the Bolton book 2 stars as there are one or two good chapters in it, the Edl, Blackpool, Wigan and foreign trips are all well written and plenty goes into them chapters.....however some other 'chapters' are just one page long, there are quite a few of these which seems to give the book a bit of a rushed finish to it, a book of two halves to quote a football saying.....anyone interested in the culture will buy this anyway regardless of reviews and id say sales will be high in Ipswich as they have finally managed to make an appearance in a book, yes, Ipswich have their own chapter, one page, says it all really............

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent....., 13 Sept. 2011
Bought this a couple weeks ago and must say im very please with it, had the other Pure Dab portable radio before but fancied a change as the battery was playing up on it, i listen to the Radio every day for at leeast 5 hours at work so need a good un, this is an excellent radio, the settings are only awkward if you dont read the instructions properly, love the look and feel of it, got a look of an Ipod to a degree, only thing i find fault with is the volume dosnt go as loud as id like.......all in all an excellent radio.....

5.0 out of 5 stars Magic...., 24 April 2011
This review is from: 92 Pies (Paperback)
Superb book, its about a fella who basically decides to do all 92 grounds whilst having a pie at each one, coming bit of celeb on the football scene for a bit, it does start a bit slow and you sense the author may be having second thoughts but he sticks at it and its well worth it....the highlight for me is his trip to Chesterfield which had me in stitches, won't give anymore away though, i was a bit put off by the price for a couple of weeks but was well pleased i decided to buy it....!!!

the other Tottenham book........not enough time or space to write what is wrong with this book, oh actually it has got one saving grace, avoid drugs or you'll end up like the author.
