5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, 13 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Works perfectly - don't be conned into buying expensive optical cables, it's light going down a plastic tube, no metal required. Wrapping it in special material and sticking gold connections doesn't do anything but inflate the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well, 13 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Formatted as NTFS on Windows 7 the capacity shows as 2.72TB, that's to be expected.
Recognised out of the box by my motherboard without needing a BIOS update (Asus P8Z68-V PRO).
Worked fine for a month without any issues, cannot comment on longevity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple but Effective, 13 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Works well to convert three TOSLINK inputs to a single output or vice versa.
Very simple, probably easy to fix (or cheap to replace) if it breaks but it's been fine for me for the last month.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Book, 13 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Read most of these stories on Gizmodo UK and they are very good. Interesting to read the kind of incidents that police officers face on a regular basis. Not the kind of thing I usually read but was impressed enough to buy this book after reading most if it's contents already.

5.0 out of 5 stars Genuine Sony Battery, 13 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought from Amazon, inspected upon arrival and completely identical (besides a serial number) to the battery that came with my camera. Good battery but cannot compare to other non-sony batteries or comment on it's durability as it's still new.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this printer, 10 May 2007
I bought this printer a few months ago and have regretted it ever since. The price tag may make it attractive but it does not deliver value at all.

The Good:

The print speed is not too slow, for this price don't expect it to be fast.

The text recognition software was actually pretty good, interpretting a scanned page of text into on screen text with very few mistakes.

Simple buttons for simple copying tasks on the front.

The Bad:

It is noisy

It vibrates a lot while printing (it shakes my desk)

The ink cartridges do not last long at all, this printer consumes ink like an alcoholic does beer.

The ink is also expensive.

The printing quality is poor. The colours are poor, there are printing lines on every picture and text can never quite be aligned right.

The scanning qualiy is not really very good either. It'll do text fine, but if you want to scan a photo, you might as well use a digital camera.

The supplied software is not very stable. It's caused my system to crash a number of times and due to a faulty ink cartridge (lexmark's own) it now refusues to complete the installation on my new computer.

Conclusion:

Simple, don't buy it. Its cheap to begin with, but the running costs are high, the output unsatisfactory and it's behaviour very frustrating.

Sony 2GB Pro Duo Memory Stick
Sony 2GB Pro Duo Memory Stick

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well but lacks one potentially importat thing..., 20 Aug. 2006
The memory stick itself works well and has been storing 8 megapixel pictures on my Sony DSC-N1 camera for a few weeks now. However, the picture shown is not entirely accurate. This stick does not come with a Memory Stick adaptor. This means that I cannot put it into the card reader in my laptop untill I spend a few more pounds for the adaptor.

It works well, but be warned, you may need to spend a few more pounds.
