It's very, very poorly made... But it works.
Ridiculously thin wires. I wouldn't trust 12v passing through this, let alone 240v. I cut the plug off to fit a uk plug and the wires are so thin and weak they just bearly stay put when screwed into the plug pins with the screws. Also, the wire is no thin that the plug grip at the base of a uk plug will not grip the full wire, even when screwed down hard. This is just dangerous and Amazon should be taking action to prevent products like this being sold on the UK market. It wouldn't take much to add a safer, thicker gauge cable. I will be removing the cable it came with and rewiring it all. The button also does not look like it's 240v rated. However, It works! I have a Seiko 6R15C movement that was gaining 6 seconds a minute and was showing extreme magnetisation with a compass needle. After 2 x10 second goes, it's now down to 'only' 2 seconds a minute fast! (Obviously other issues).

Have a look at the many videos on You Tube showing how to use this thing (I searched for watch demagnetiser and clicked play on one that looked like this one). I suspect that these little blue boxes all come out of one factory and rebranded with odd names like Magic Show (to attract the David Blaine fans), Dauerhaft (for people that like vowels or Germans), Ejoyous (for the happy people) and Sairis (for those that enjoy Indian clothing). I can only confirm that this magic version worked a treat. I had 2 watches running at about a minute fast per day. One wizz on this bad boy and and both now down to a few seconds. Expensive automatic watches fixed for very little money.

A demagnetiser is a must have for any watch collecting as mechanical watches can easily become magnetised when they come into contact with a magnetic field. This is a cheap and very effective way to demagnetise any mechanical watch and I've used it several times very effectively.

This product does work, but there are differing opinions as to the best method, probably better to research and experiment. It’s very cheap and this is reflected by the quality. Mainly the push button switch which requires some persistence to get a good contact. The plug and cable are adequate. Take home message, it works but you get what you pay for !

My 4 star rating takes into account that I only paid £12.99 via Amazon.

It de-magnetised one watch completely (see procedure below). The second watch I tried it on retained a slight magnetism no matter what I tried. In fairness, that watch is 54 years old and may have been magnetised for a long time. Maybe that makes a difference???

    PROCEDURE
The usual instructions are to hold the object near the device and then slowly move it away. The idea is that the object will pass then through a constantly changing and diminishing magnetic field. I tried that several times, with limited success.

What did work was to repeat that slow removal action but to constantly rotate the watch in all 3 planes at the same time as slowly withdrawing it. That process worked immediately with my Seiko Alpinist that I had carelessly left next to a loud-speaker but my 54 year old Bulova retains slight magnetism. It is barely detectable with the Lepsi App and is not enough to alter it's accuracy.

In fairness, the excellent 'Valjoux 92' movement in that old Bulova claims to be 'anti-magnetic' - which MAY be why it is not affected by the residual magnetism. Fair play to Valjoux and to Bulova that it still works perfectly after all these years.

[Valjoux movements were used in Rolex, Breitling, Heuer, Hamilton, Bulova, Omega, Wittnauer and many lesser brands]

Pulled a couple watches back into the line since I bought it a few years ago.

I'm sorry to report that this item was a total waste of money. Simply, it did not work.
I have a 23 year old Tag Heuer automatic watch, which I love, but of late it has suffered from magnetism and no longer keeps time. Checks using a compass and the Lepsi app indicated that it had been magnetised, presumably from iPhones and iPads. Following instructions, (not supplied with the tool) obtained on line I attempted to use the demagnetiser several times but it just didn't work.
I'm now seriously considering abandoning my old Tag and buying a battery watch commensurate with modern living.

Check out the video/s on youtube if you are not sure how to use this as it does not come with written instructions. Basically, if you need to demagnetise your watch simply place it on the surface and keep the button pressed for 10 seconds. You will hear a slight humming noise. Once the 10 seconds have expired keep you finger on the button and move the watch slowly away from the demagnetiser until the hum stops and then release the button. If you are still finding problems with the watch try it a few times more. My own watch needed 3 attempts but now it is bang on time.

Demagnitised a 60 year old omega watch
You place the watch on the unit, press the red button, leave the watch on the unit for four seconds and then move it slowly away and upwards to a height of about a foot
    Total success
You do need an adaptor from a two pin to a three pin plug
