    Bought this after hearing many good things about it, and briefly seeing one at work.
    To start off the the pros and cons,
    pros:
    - temperature settings accurate
    - can hold water at a set temp and be left for up to an hour, handy so you can go off and come back when you feel
    - goose neck spout very controlled
    - looks very nice
    - also came with waterproof cover for base plate

    cons:
    Very short plug lead (could be useful if power outlet close by, no messy leads)

    Overall, I absolutely love this kettle and use it everyday. I was going to purchase the hario gooseneck kettle, but this pours just as nicely and controls the temperature which is a must have for serious brewers.

    I was looking for some temp holding kettle and this came across as the best one - with a gooseneck too.
    So far have been using it at least once daily for making tea or coffee for two months and I'm just loving it!

    Temperature measurements are correct, and there's also a hold option - perfect to set the kettle boiling, have a shower in the meantime and come back to pour the perfect coffee pot. Saves some time and hassle in the pre-coffee morning. Also, turns itself off after a prolonged perios - in case you set it to boil and forget it, so no fire hazard.

    Gooseneck makes an excellent pourer, you can see the grinds mixing nicely in a clear cafetiere, my coffee taste the best so far.

    Some of the reviews say the thermostat has broke, but make sure you read the instructions: the lid has three little holes for the steam to go out, in the instructions it mentions to make sure they face the handle - because the thermostat is close to that bit and release of steam makes sure the temp is accurate. People often are careless with instructions but I think this one is crucial in order for proper operation of the kettle.

    I would recommend this any day !

    This kettle is great when it works but the problem is you're fairly lucky if it does for any length of time.

    My kettle failed after 15 uses, the thermostat stopped working and it would cycle through temperatures, attempt to reach temperature and then switch off and cycle again.

    Why the one star if I just have a duff unit? The roaster I use managed to get through 6 of these in about 2 months before they finally got one that worked. Considering the tiny amount of these actually sold in the UK I've seen a lot of broken ones.

    BonavitaWorld don't seem to respond at all to customer feedback, I have attempted to contact them and had no reply.

It does everything it says it does and heats water to different temperatures depending on what type of tea or coffee you are wanting to make. Quite amazing.     Der Wasserkocher hält voll und ganz, was er verspricht: Die Bedienung ist einfach, das Wasser kocht schnell und die gewünschte Temperatur wird exakt gehalten. Zudem sieht das Gerät wirklich gut aus und man kann das Wasser durch den Schwanenhals sehr gut dosiert auch in kleinen Mengen ausgießen. Ideal geeignet also zum Aufbrühen von hochwertigem Filterkaffee und grünem Tee. Einziges Manko: Der Kocher wird mit einem britischen (3-poligen) Stecker geliefert! Das ist zwar auf dem Bild zu sehen, steht aber nicht in der Beschreibung und man erwartet es einfach nicht, wenn man bei amazon Deutschland bestellt. Ein deutlicher Hinweis darauf wäre eigentlich angebracht.
