Took this on a 5 day cycle tour of Normandy. The design of this tent is great. You enter and leave by the long side entrance, and leave your panniers helmet and the tent bag in the porch. That means when you are in the sleeping compartment you can access all your stuff through the dividing door. So, no cluttered sleeping compartment, and no single access like on the Nallo etc where all your stuff has to be put far away across or at the side of the porch leaving a space for you to crawl in and out. The little porch groundsheet keeps it all dry.
With the long side entrance open when you wake its easy to set up your stove and make a brew whilst lying in your sleeping bag.
If it rains you can use the porch as an entry and exit, but even though it rained very hard I never needed to do this. The tent is absolutely dry in heavy rain and there is a 10cm skirt on the sewn in groundsheet. There is good clearance between the inner tent and the flysheet so any condensation does not drip down on you. The ventilation is superb. Handy pockets for your stuff. I have got the pitching and packing time down to about 3 minutes.

Although its 2.45kg and too small for two people, its roomy for one and I would highly recommend this tent for cycle touring. At the price, its an absolute steal

Bought this tent to use on motorcycle rallies. The first time I used it the zip snagged in the flaps. I managed to unsnagg the zip luckily. Next time the zip snagged again only this time I broke the zip trying to unsnag it. My girlfriend made a repair and I used the tent again. This time the zip snagged and the slider came off all together.

I went to an outdoor shop and tried every coleman tent on display and guess what? all the zips snagged. One of the display tents actually had ripped material near the zip where it had snagged many times previously.

This is a great tent and I still use mine but with a new zip installed but there is a serious design flaw. The zip is too close to the material or maybe its the size of the teeth in relation to the material thickness. I don't know. All I know is that there is a problem with the zips.

This tent is great for anywhere warm with a light breeze and a bit of drizzle but nothing more adveturous!

Took it backpacking in South America and found out that with a stronger breeze anywhere near sand and the whole thing fills up with dust and debris!! Seriously the design and material means that the wind wips up inside the top layer and the mesh is such a large weave that it rains dust and dirt inside the tent...all over your stuff, you AND your camera equipment.

This design also means that in colder conditions you can feel the wind inside and you freeze!

Im moving to Namibia, the land of sand. This tent will NOT be coming with me!

First the good bits, this is a great little tent, very very easy to erect, and even easier to put away, and taking up very little space when folded, the light weight pegs are also a great help in keeping the overall weight down. Used it three times so far, including one night in a force 8 gale with driving rain, and it stood up really well, bone dry inside. The side entry door is excellent and makes getting in and out a doddle, and the front door and porch are also quite useful, particularly for getting access to kit stored in the porch. On the down side, it would be an intimate fit for two people, and you have to be careful with the main zip as the storm flap tries to get caught in the zip every once in a while, overall, highly recommended.

For reserchi talked to lightweight campers, bushcraft guys plus looked at reviews and for 1 man light(ish)backpacking for 1-7 days at a time in sometimes terrible cold, wet or windy conditions in all 4 seasons then this was a quality bargain tent as good as much more expensive tents.I recieved it and tested it over night from 5pm-7am in 98%humidity,cold clammy and rained heavy all night. In the mornin it was bone dry,no condensation or leakes. Also a cold night and i have a nice sleeping bag so it was warm inside, cold and battering with rain out side which norm means def condensation but the aviors air flow system works very well and kept a breeze going over the inner to keep any wetness at bay.10/10 Tent for bra price.Well recommended if you need it for the above conditions.Wont let you down, nice hooks and pckets inside plus side entrance makes it great for summer or diving into during a storm.Cant recommend highly enough for under £100.

A lot of research....I mean a lot of research honed in on this tent. Off cycle touring so weight, design, weather proof, simplicity of design/erection, materials, ergonomics, did I mention weight top priority. I can confirm that this tent has been DESIGNED BY A DESIGNER. I should know cos I am one and know when one is. This tent is quality. So many excellent features I can't fault it. On using.. Wouldn't it be great if..and there it is already well thought through. Ventilation, access, storage, comfort, practicality/logical. This is an excellent tent for backpackers and cycle touring. And the price...don't let on as it's a total bargain.
