Well I have two I bought them at the same time and they’re both Grey
That was the only colour that was available

Yes I don't see any reason why not but if your thinking really dirty Floor tiles then I'd go for the trad scrubbing brush with wooden handle and very strong bristles , we use our iron brush on food pans and it work well and the handle allows you to use really hot water and good old elbow power
