Thank you for your question. The overall height of the product is 39cm but the height of the handle from the base of the lid would be 12.5cm

How can I know, I'm a Buyer as Yoursef. This is a major hassle with Amazon as they don't seem to have an enquiries group to answer questions. I guess Their answer will be They handle so many goods how can they know. Did 't they give You Seller info so You could ask Them. Might be better to buy again as They are so cheap.

Sometimes water turns rusty coloured if it is left for some time without it drying out. I think it is a sort of algae. I have experienced this with the bottom part of shower doors. As the brush appears to be permanently fixed to the lid I doubt that replacement would be possible.
