From my general observations on this forum a lot of the regulars that post are primarily ps players and I would just like to wish you all a happy launch day and I'm positive you will all be very satisfied with your ps4's!!

Happy gaming! Greatness awaits !

Ah thats nice Crucial god bless you.

Are you happy with your Xbone so far ?

I'll be getting an Xbox 1 soon hopefully

I agree

Even though we are outnumbered by the PS fanclub (greatly it would seem) I will also add my best wishes for a smooth & trouble free gaming weekend with your new PS4's.

Yeah Bauer I'm totally happy with it and I thoroughly recommend Bf4 for your new shiny ps4 if you've not already got it, I think I've been on it everyday over the last week and normally I veer towards the COD side but its a great game that I think shines on next gen.

If you do get an Xbox feel free to add me if you like, ps4 looks great but I can't afford to run 2 consoles :)

I decided to stick with this Gen, got a good deal and upgraded to the 360E

I will stick with that for the next 12 months at least, I enjoy the games that I have and still want to play some other games from this Gen that interest me.

Also as much as her ladyship loves me I would have a hard time trying to justify 2 Xbox's under the telly ;)

Sony PlayStation 4 Camera (PS4) well it's actually £49 but don't let facts get in the way of your argument

In reply to an earlier post on 29 Nov 2013, 15:16:53 GMT
Please, enlighten me to which games these are?

COD - No camera required
BF4 - No camera required
Knack - No camera required
FFXV - No camera required
Killzone - No camera required
Drive Club - No camera required

I think you read something on the daily mail and took it for truth, that or you were up sold an Xbox One by Gamestop.

"you need the camera for 85% of there games to work" - no. wrong.
"when your t.v screen says "please connect camera to continue"" - only if the game says 'needs ps eye for full functionality' - which most games don't.
"The PS4 is currently around the £330" - tbf more like £350
"The PS4 camera will set you back £100" - more like £50

the ps eye is NEEDED for face recognition and voice control etc, (like the X1) but is not NEEDED for about 85% of games.

I've done a quick google. None of the retail games in the launch window require the PS Eye. Facts eh? tut tut, dont you hate them.

AndyBSG says:
"you need the camera for 85% of there games to work as it interacts with the controller"

Complete nonsense, there's not a single launch title which requires the camera.

"but by Sony being very sneaky and people buying their console because they think its cheaper"

This would be the sneaky Sony who last gen included rechargeable controllers as standard with the PS3 and included a the HD movie drive as standard while MS charged you extra for both of these...

In reply to an earlier post on 29 Nov 2013, 15:25:43 GMT
Yup, also the same sneaky Sony who offers you a couple free games a month if you sign up to PS+

And built in bluetooth. They also put a HDMI cable in as standard rather than making you spend another £35 on a compatable one, or force you to buy a newer model console if you wanted HDMI.

Didnt mean the cable, sorry, I meant the HDMI port.

"I had a lot of PS3's and 360's but I never got an HDMI cable with any of them :P."

A difficult decision when your on a smash and grab ! .. do I hang around longer and take the cables ? ............... Only joking Ness ;)
