I'm loving the power and handling of my stealth cars that i got from pre order. Only used them for a few races but they are quality.

There was a gorgeous TVR in the used section but i was 1 level too low to buy it. When i got to the required level, typically, it had gone! Gutted.

I have a Suburu, although could not tell you which one it is! It started at 300bhp and with all the mods I have got it upto 444 bhp. The handling is a bit iffy now though!!

RABB says:
Dodge Charger... great... taking corners....

Thought it was supposed to be realistic? Everyone knows American cars get confused by corners.

Sorry slightly OT quick question... do you still have to do Licenses? that was one of my fave things in the older GT's

ye, thats what I thought when I bought it, but after purchasing a few parts for it, it handles like a dream! which still seems very odd to me because I keep expecting to go off spinning in to the crash barrier but some how it goes round corners very quickly.

ye, there's loads of licenses to do

Anybody got any idea of what the best car is to buy at level 9? New or used. Any Price.

where's everybody gone? I'm bored at work so wanted to talk about cars in GT5 but everyone seems to have disappeared.

Don't think there is any 'one best car' at any level. Everyone likes differnt cars for their driving style.

Your'e just gonna have to choose yourself.

I always used to love the Dodge Vipers on the older GT games (1-3).

In reply to an earlier post on 26 Nov 2010, 14:40:04 GMT
I could never get to grips with them, too much power in the rear to get round corners properly!

In reply to an earlier post on 26 Nov 2010, 14:44:16 GMT
You had to slide them round the corners. Tricky to get the hang of but worth it if you could.

Plus the Chrysler (sp) concept car from GT1 (you won it from one of the endurance races) was fookin amasing. Best car in the game IMO, it was essentially a 4wd viper.

Sir Rodders says:
Be nice to have an official GT topic, this may as well be it and to stop the pages filling up with the same topics over and over. My question is more about tuning and whether someone could post a simple step by step guide to what to do. I have no ideas what makes cars go (other than wheels and petrol) so need a bit of a crib sheet. People, do your worst...

Essentially start off by modding your engine and putting on a sports filter. This will add 50 bhp to your car (on average - depending on make & model).

IMO the best things you can do to a car is give it a big turbo/supercharger, dual clutch, semi-racing flywheel, racing tyres and some good suspension.

Weight loss is a major part early on. Strip the insides of the car and you will notice a massive difference.

In reply to an earlier post on 26 Nov 2010, 15:34:07 GMT
In my experience this only makes a massive difference if you have a heavy car to start with, if you start off with something very light it doesn't seem to make much difference to me.

whats everybodys favourite car that hey have at the moment? mines my Hommell Burlinette with 300bhp, very light and a lot of work done to make it go round corners VERY quickly, I hardly have to brake.

Rodders asked for what things to do to the car since he has no idea, weight loss is a major thing to do to his car, therefore, massive difference! :)

What car do you have Rodders?

rodders - main idea is to get BHP up. fully pimped my original civic with everything possible and it is a beast. working on my new Golf now. love it.

picked up some gold trophies on the B license but getting it for every1 will be a nightmare.

im just concentrating on gold trophing all races and building up my garage. lookn forward to RATS races tonight.

at least you can get online, I've been automatically logged out of PSN for past 2 days and haven't been able to log back in to it, so therefore I can't do anything online.

My fave is the DB9. Looks sexy in purple and just started tinkering with it to increase the BHP. Also put Sport tyres on as that makes a difference.

Posted on 26 Nov 2010, 17:07:32 GMT
Whats the handling like on it? because I'm thinking of buying a DB9 once I have the credits.
