If they spoke Latin could they be Roman-ticks - but they work alone so they could then be Automa-ticks. Do they smell nice - then they are Aroma-ticks

that should be a good book - on the prowl and Cry Wolf been there read them - andHunting Ground may be next - I like Werewolves - I have one in a statue - he holds a Candle - Most of my Figues - have a "Goth" tendency - now I need a silly comment on Goths - to rescue me from being un-silly on this Forum.
