Lez, you got it stereo, seems to me. I prefer first six Beatles albums mono, just compared Rubber Soul to be sure.

Hi Blastro, I've only got one Spiritualized album 'Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space', I'd recommend that as a far better album then 'LGM'. You can get it second hand on Amazon for about £5 inc p&p, worth a look.

Out-Bloody-Rageous - An Anthology 1967 -1973 - Soft Machine. Always had a soft spot for Robert Wyatt so I thought I'd give this a go. Very pleasant jazzy psychedelia so far.

No need to beg, Peter.

Not a big Marley / reggae fan, then?

Big Enough to Disappear by Moris Tepper, an ex Beefheart and Tom Waits sideman, not that you could ever tell listening to this. No signs of his former employers respective influences on this easy going, well played album. Not enough to elicit a wow from me, though. Track 9, Dinner Table is the best track imho.

Dubby, funky, feral - given you're fondness for Metal Box, I'm pretty sure you'd like it, Smitty.
