Not sure it would be fair to vote as there are more I haven't heard than have.

Did notice as result of all this that Stefan Grossman has had a remaster for CD so that was kerching for another market lace trader.

PS; ITC, look at bottom right(almost) of post box

Frampton = 3
Colosseum = 2
AC/DC = 1

Framps gets it for me as it was such a surprise, on first listening, that this double album was so brilliantly put together. Not often an artist improves their studio tracks so dramatically by performing live...sheer quality and makes you feel damn good too! (IMHO).

That's a 3 for the Who, a 2 for los hermanos Allman, and a 1 for Colosseum.

There are some odd inclusions in the voting list and some odd omissions. But it would be a dull world if we all bothered too much about what's canonical and what isn't, and these polls' idiosyncracies are part of their charm anyway, right?

Liking the new moniker, quite suits if I do say so myself.

Peter, I would imagine if Yeaters hadn't opted for Brass Neck then the only other logical choice would have been 'blunt, straight-talking Yorkshire bastard'. With an 'aye' at the end. :-)

No new posts for 2 days, methinks we're done here. The voting system was handled admirably (by most) and the results are clear;

Top dog is At Fillmore East - Allman Brothers Band with a score of 19
Very respectable 2nd place goes to Live at Leeds - The Who with 14
Bronze position is narrowly taken by Made In Japan - Deep Purple with 11
Honourable mentions to AC/DC & Led Zep with just one point less than the Purps
Live & Dangerous scored an unbelievably paltry 1 point and two albums garnered zero votes, Stefan Grossman possibly on grounds of relative obscurity(?) and Wings Over America.

As Radiohead might say, 'No Alarms & No Surprises'!
