Highway Star off 'Made in Japan'-the original version. For some reason on the recent 'Best of' double CD, it's different.

Stargazer - Rainbow - great drum intro from Cozy Powell R.I.P.
Does It Really Happen? - Yes, great Chris Squire bass intro
Watcher Of The Skies - Genesis, for all Mellotron lovers
Whatever You Want - Quo. Rubbish band, but they pulled off a great intro.
Hell's Bells - AC/DC
Leaders - Katatonia, terrific underrated doom metal band
Achilles' Last Stand
- Led Zep
Master Of The Universe - Hawkwind

but the killer intro. of all tinme has to be, IMHO:
Faith Healer - The Sensational Alex Harvey Band....even the modest Killing joke have used that as an intro. live

Brass Neck says:
Did you know that back in the days of the pre-recorded cassette being almost as important as the vinyl LP release SAHB found that the two sides of Next were too uneven and so the Faith Healer intro was extended by looping it to avoid too much fast-forwarding at the end of the side? Hah, you didn't did you? ;¬)

Framed / Next ( 2007 remastered) something of a bargain @ £7.63
