Hi all you posters out there, now this one ought to get you all commenting I do believe. There is currently a thread on the science forum that has not taken off so to speak that says we are all born gay,but only due to neuroplasticity or something similar as i'm no expert, makes us change to heterosexual later on in life. Please try and keep it clean and no aiming any personal grudges into it.

Didn't ancient Greek society kind of follow that M.O.!?

Anita says:
Stu - that particular thread is in direct reply to *three* threads stating the opposite and started by an infamous homophobe. It's not serious, it's a joke

Kleist says:
I think we are actually born polymorphously perverse, if the truth be known. So we are neither born gay nor straight.

Withnail says:
For what it is worth, I think children are asexual.

Bearman says:
Not sure about that......I can remember having some pretty raunchy thoughts at a very young age.

Anita says:
Actually there is such a thing as "show me the parts in which we are different" game among kids as young as 4 or 5.

I still remember an episode from my own childhood when a younger girl told me: I would sooo like to see a naked man! (Me too, I thought, but I won't tell you! :) )

Kleist says:
Have you seen one yet? If so was it a disappointment?

In reply to an earlier post on 5 Feb 2014, 15:29:38 GMT
Anita says:
At the very very least I've been in Florence since... wasn't disappointed at all. Want a link? ;)

Bearman says:
Did David send you flowers afterwards?

Mr. Anthony Wilde says:
I think we are actually born polymorphously perverse,

I know I was, somehow I always knew, even when I was little.

If I'm honest, Anthony, I fail to grasp at the moment, if you are up for a joke or getting annoyed (fine if the former, not exactly intentional if the latter)

Kleist says:
I very rarely get annoyed: When someone makes a bigoted remark, when someone intentionally misleads or when someone drinks my beer.

You don't fall into any of these categories.

Your joke was no worse than mine :-) (I hate shoving these things on the end, but never mind).

Anita says:
So invite me for a beer... and I'll try to get you annoyed

Kleist says:
I would love to . But I think your travel arrangement might cost a bit more than the round.

In reply to an earlier post on 5 Feb 2014, 18:27:20 GMT
Anita says:
Ahh sure... Once I suggest you invite me for a beer, you say you *would* love to, but there's always a "but"...

:)
