Ian says:
People quote other authors because the author has expressed something well. The least well educated blindly accept The Daily Mail says it so it must be true, that includes their 'science reporting'.

IN; People quote others because they cannot think of anything to say that is relevent to the debate. =)

Ryan, m'dear, best to ignore the witless one. Unless you enjoy the jolly banter, of course.

Was that Oscar Wilde?

Ignoring the creep hasn't made him vanish; so, since he enjoys setting himself up, he may as well be knocked down. Again and again.

IN; Was what Oscar Wilde? The quoting, the thinking or the relevence? PS: I do not plagarise. If my words are not in quotation marks, you can be sure that the statement is the result of my own confused mind and not someone elses =)

DB; Insults are the last resort of the ignorant. If someone insults you they are unwittingly admitting that you know more than they do about the subject. An insult aimed at oneself should therefore be seen as evidential proof that one is correct. I personally do not take offence at insults; they simply prove my point.

Did he use insults often?- because he is wrong.

Absolutely right. I survey my IKEA bookcases with a deep sense of fulfillment, knowing that I put them together using only my practical instinct and intuition. Real Man stuff. Hardcore. Living On The Edge.

They do not have a single right angle between them, but I Did It My Way.

C. A. Small says:
Tom- right angles are for those who lack the inspiration to improve things aesthetically in a fluid transition from the basic photo on the front to a more freee form design.

Curiously most women seem not to see the benefit of this evolution of construction.

"Oh well, so posters are privately calling you C-D-D's other "

You said 'posters', plural. Only you are doing it.

Try again. And let us have that link when you're not busy. I'm sure you meant to do it before...

Ridiculous, DB I suggest you look into the scientific enlightenment and also how the scientific method works. You seem to be under a grand misconception...
Faith wouldn't put a man on the moon or send robotic space crafts out of our solar system. Passing the planets we asked it to.
Satellites, electron microscopes, X-ray machines, Nuclear power stations.... you get my point. None of it is possible with "faith".

Is science fact or faith: the test.

I'll press a button and let electricity boil the water in the kettle.

You put your hands together, kneel and pray for the water to boil.

Whoever will get to have their cuppa first?

Faith doesn't work.
Apologetics invents excuses as to why faith doesn't work.
