I don't see anything wrong with that. I put cd's, dvd's and blu-rays back in the cases with the label the right way up.

you can't reason with irrational superstitious folk - try pulling a rabbit out of a hat or walking on water

S.V.F.X

Superstition, faith, irrationality, they all go hand in hand and form a tight circular logic that is hard to break.

"Is there a medical term for the compulsion to make lists?"

OCD or it could be a sign of Aspergers.

"Theism = belief in a deity, based on evidence, which may be mere existence; or revelation, at most."
Everything after deity is not part of the definition. The belief makes you a theist.

"Atheism = belief that there is no deity; absurdity, because based on absolutely nothing at all, and therefore non-existent. An 'atheist' must be a liar."
Atheism is not the belief that there is no deity, that is a subset of atehism called strong atheism, Atheism is the lack of belief that there is a deity. Atheism is based on the fact that no strong evidence is found in support of theism.

Agnosticism, the honest position, of either theists or atheists, that itis unknown whether or not god exists.

Spin says:
Sam: I do not claim there is "anything wrong" with it; its just odd. It seems to be an expression of a desire for "perfection" and "order", if you see what I mean. But then, I am the sloppiest member of my family, so what would I know? Even our six year old has more sense of order and tidiness than I have. (its great being a Dad! Har!)=)

"insisting that a CD or DVD sits in the tray with the print on it lined up squarely with the face of the machine"

I do that, and with putting it in the case o.o

My genius is exceeded only by my beauty. A dvd and a complaint have no more relevence to my superiority than an open-mouthed George Michael in a mens room...

Of course you smile, for a fleeting moment. Make the most of it. Because there won't be much fun where you're going, will there.

Not for you, anyway.

When the day comes and you stand before Odin you will have a lot of questions to answer.

If that day comes after I've had answers to the questions I've asked here, I don't think it will ever come. :)
