It took almost exactly 4 years to reach 1000 posts on CTC3. The original CTC took just over 9 months (27/1/09 - 2/10/09), and CTC2 just over a year (2/10/09 - 26/10/10). It's been getting a lot harder - if you don't believe me, here's the very first code:
