"Wealthy men can't live in an island that is encircled by poverty. We all breathe the same air. We must give a chance to everyone, at least a basic chance."
Ayrton Senna

"Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe."
Frederick Douglass

"I have seen firsthand that agricultural science has enormous potential to increase the yields of small farmers and lift them out of hunger and poverty."
Bill Gates

GATES FOUNDATION - AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT (STRATEGY OVERVIEW)
Goal: "To reduce hunger and poverty for millions of farming families in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia by increasing agricultural productivity in a sustainable way."

Maybe "Dear Leader" will one day feel inclined to contact these helpful folks ...

Folk play that as a love song, but he's saying, I've had enough, I'm off (to NKerland) and I feel easy about it Like Sunday Morning...lol.

Spin says:
"Money" and its acquisition, does not make one "rich". "Wealth" is the simple appreciation of being alive in this time, in this place... Sell yourself and your natural environment, if you wish, but nothing is more honourable and fulfilling than defending yourself against those who attempt to sell you your life....

gille liath says:
I was thinking that. Since Boydy called himself GOMS, the comparison is irresistible; on this thread it's so strong, you almost feel it must be deliberate.

Maybe they think you're a communist because you support NK?

gille liath says:
There's no one more materialist than Boydy. He was complaining the other day that people aren't spending enough for Xmas.

Shrek says:
One of his wind ups, playing Devil's advocate, there are many Boydies in the one Boydy body...?

Judge him by how he lives...most modestly.

gille liath says:
Oh, have you two been meeting up on the quiet?

I can't judge him by how he lives, only by his words. If he is deliberately choosing to appear different from how he is, I can't help that; I can only say the joke wore off a long, long time ago. There may be many Boydies, but I haven't noticed one of them that makes any sense.

Shrek says:
He tells all about his life, on here, very open man: lives in a parkhome (static caravan), eats baked beans and bananas, drinks PG Tips (no milk), drives a small Toyota, never takes holidays, does not smoke or drink or take other drugs, does not gamble. He lives with a small dog, has a 42" telly with Sky sub and buys books...these seem to be his indulgences. Three years back he was living on less than £15,000 a year. His 'story' is consistent. Now he could be lying...everyone on here could.

Simon makes perfect sense to me - most of the time.

And his customers say he's a very very nice man.

Like the old Capin?

In reply to an earlier post on 19 Nov 2013, 21:57:35 GMT
Shrek says:
Your hero, the old capin Kirk?...again...
The grand old obese capin J Tiberius Kirk
He had 4,600 mixed gender, racialyl integrated, Federation persons aboard
He beamed them up to the Borg
who rejected them, too nice
So he beamed them down again
