I would like to buy a scanner for old slides and film negs - any advice on which one to buy please? I'm confused!!! I was hoping to spend around £100. I would like to transfer negs to memory card or to input into laptop

Scanners like the Canoscan 5600f have a slide and negative frame. It's a couple of years old now, but I am pretty sure that the 5600f got good reviews at the time. The thing to watch out for is how many negatives and slides that can be scanned at once, I think the 5600f did quite a few where cheaper models didn't.

£125 from Amazon.
