1-Click ordering on MP3s can't be turned off?

I just accidentally bought a whole album by clicking 1-Click order, when I meant to just download 2 tracks.

So I thought, silly me, I shouldn't have had 1-Click ordering turned on, went to my account settings, and it turned out that I DON'T have it turned on.

Given that you can't cancel an MP3 order, unlike other more real purchases on Amazon, why is turning off 1-Click in the MP3 department not an option?

You still have the option to delete the order, even with 1-click ordering. I have just tried it. When you get to the order confirmation page there is a delete button you can use to delete some or all of the order. If you delete evrything the empty order is cancelled.

It wasn't obvious to me when I got to that page that I had ordered the wrong thing - i.e. that my two tracks from the album had been replaced by the whole album. I don't usually use 1-Click so I'm unaccustomed to the process. Given the risk, I don't particularly feel like risking another click on the 1-Click button to see where I went wrong.

Just try it with a single track, one that is very cheap. It does work but if you are unhappy with it don't use the 1-click option. I've only bought downloads from one other supplier and they don't have anything like Amazon's 1-click option (which is misleadingly named anyway) so I don't really know how Amazon compares with i-Tunes etc.

Similiar situation, 1-click ordering is turned off on the kindle, yet it still works. Can you disable this besides putting a password on the Kindle? I'm not quite sure why they give you the option to disable if it still works. Thanks in advance!
