Could someone take me through how to do this step by step please. The site seems to give a lot of options and I dont know which to choose. I know It seems a stupid request but I would be very grateful if someone could help me

Have you actually phoned Cust Services as they will send you a label to return it.

Yes I have and on the return instructions it directs you to the Yodel website to arrange collection by them. Unfortunately I must be very stupid as I cant work out how to do it. Thank you for your reply. I may just contact CS again.

It's a while since I returned anything but if you want it collected then you have to print off the label to go on the package and then click on the link to Yodel's website which will give you the chance to put in your name and address and phone etc and pick the date on which you want the package collected. I've always found Amazon to be THE easiest site for returns yet many people seem to have problems with it.

Thank you for your reply. Problem now solved. I made the mistake of going to the Yodel website without using the link from Amazon. Must have been having a senior moment. The man at CS was lovely and explained what to do.

They are great indeed - I wish others would learn from Amazon.

Why not just turn up at Yodel when there's no-one in; chuck the package over their fence and stick a note through their door. It's what couriers (especially their predecessor Home Delivery Network) do to me so surely it works both ways?

I will not be using Amazon again - I just can't bear Yodel!
I had to take 2 days off work, because Yodel just stuck the green 'you weren't at home' note through the door rather than ringing the door bell (and there is even an option of a knocker, but this was obviously a bit too complicated for Yodel).
There is no way I'll be ordering through a company that use Yodel. So...Goodbye Amazon!

Don't fret dear, no loss. I won't be using Yodel again.
Enjoy your career with Yodel.

I think Damaskcat was referring to not using Amazon, not Yodel.

How interesting.
I was only writing a review. You and Damaskcat need to get a chatroom.
Bye xx

OK I think that LauraB is either completely confused or I am because her posts make no sense at all

I returned a kindle last week with Yodel. They did pick up on the day requested, but it wasn't until ten to five, so I had to wait in all day. I do find it a little annoying that amazon don't allow you to return a damaged/faulty kindle via royal mail as those of us who work find it difficult to arrange to be around all day.

I returned a printer last week with Yodel. No issues whatsoever, and as Amazon were paying I really can't complain!

Good luck - I waited in for them to collect my damaged kindle and they never showed up. Wasn't going to waste another day so I just sent it back special delivery and reclaimed the cost from Amazon.

I won't use Yodel again for returns.

It may well say this but when I spoke to CS they said I was not able to return the Kindle by Royal Mail and it had to be with Yodel. I don't know whether this is because I purchased the kindle at curry's but I did ask the question and was given an unequivocal no.

No worries, Essercizi - and if I need to return it again I will certainly find some quotes from this forum to back up my case for Royal Mail!

my return email says you can do either, and that's this week. But they obviously want you to use yodel if you can.
